I think a lot of us make our own language .. and that is part of being human.

@Appleblossom, thanks for the 'coping persona' info - Informative & helpful, haven't heard it put like that before. A therapist I talked with last year said people confuse multiple perdonas (normal) to multiple personality. Does seem like a fine line.
@Faith-and-Hope, I like your bit on sub-personalities and formal-polite mode. Been waiting for someone to practise on.
I'm at the point in growth where I'm not only aware of my strongest lifelong persona, but don't like it/her anymore, can't do it anymore & starting to peel her off of me. What's underneath, I think, is a stronger more sustainable authentic me. I hope. This is scary but happening naturally because I'm just so damn tired - growing up finally, evolving maybe, haha

do you wear a mortar board and gown in day to day life? I have heard of people doing that. I also have a Bachelors Degree, although I try to address psychs in a 'colloquial' or manner/register appropriate to situation.

I did my degree and fourth year part time so I was a basket case - I was actually - and of course I had to work for a good part of that time
Of course kids living off their parents don't have anything wrong with them - they have yet to live - they have yet to feel so many things that adults have learned about LIFE - when I was in fourth year I knew a lot of my colleagues - that is other students starting post grad with an honours year - agreed - in fact I don't think I invented the idea -
We have to be crazy to try and raise a family and work and care for the problems of life and finances and study - I was told that -sniff - I have my Honours Degree and know pretty much what you are talking about because I didn't end my studying then either
But we did it - we did it @Appleblossom. High 5!!!!!

..hmm @Former-Member.. ditto re not stressed. thanks for your concern and dressing/clothing advice re your suggestion that I was existing in a cold place and in sleeping in car. Cats fall on their feet. May become a bit stressed while falling, but end up on feet...

@TAB, I haven't figured you out yet. It is hard for me to keep up with & remember everyone's business, best to just remind me, I live in the moment & I'm not taking notes. Enjoy your caravan.

ok so you are glad you did it and even went to Honours. Well.Congratulations, and cute you mentioned Honours cos I am so pathetic that I am going to say that I did too and got a 2a well laha de dah well I was proud of it and yes did it in my 30's and don't talk to people collegially still, however, if had taken up Phd scholarship, I, well, no, I still wouldn't have lol relax

..ahh .. and ..you won't ..soz. and thanks for being so direct tho. well you may have looked out the window and decided it was cold and that I was sleeping in car haha yeah I'm full of it, sorry, am enjoying it as much as am able, aint here much longer lol and thanks so much for your concern re my nightly sleeping arrangements.
