I got an SMS on my phone today from hospital with the $$quote...

very expensive to pay without private health insurance

Sounds like your thoroughness paid off. Best check tomrw, as they might be better at sending invoices than cancelling ... if you know what I mean. Nobody wants unfair bills.

The hospital waited until late on Friday to tell me I wasn't covered

@Appleblossom good idea ...best if I call the hospital and confirm I won't get invoiced🙂

I emailed the specialist at the clinic but will call them to let reception know to tell the surgeon I emailed....sometimes they don't bother to check emails I suspect

I am just getting more careful, these days, cos too many things are on automtic pilot.

I hope the delay is not a serious health or pain problem.
