having a bad morning

having a bad morning

I am feeling that my life at the moment is crap. I am so depressed and find that more so in the mornings. I hate myself so much, the way I feel, the way I act and behave. I know people will say to me 'oh just get over it' or 'you're not trying hard enough' - well to those people who say that: Do you have a mental illness; do you know what it's like to have depression and feel so dark that you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel; do you self harm to get rid of your emotions and to feel the pain; or do you think about suicide because it's all too much and you can't handle the pain anymore - NO. So don't tell me to just 'move on' or 'stop being too sensitive'.

I am not having a good morning this morning; tears are flowing as i am typing. And I have to get ready for work; damn work. Sometimes I wonder if life is worth living and why?

I really don't know how i am going go today at work; I feel so depressed. 😞

Big hugs @BlueBay ....

That's the depression talking .... there will be some sort of reason behind the lack of calls ... but they will need to explain that to you when they so get in touch ....

Till then ... what can you do to distract yourself ?

You have people in your lid who love you .... take your focus off the ones who have disappointed you, and use that energy for something positive instead ....

Have you got your knitting at work with you to do during your tea-breaks ? You need something to soak up all
That angry energy that's spinning you out at this moment ..... can you at least go and touch something beautiful in the pharmacy at the moment ? Spray a perfume sample on a card and smell it ? Hold a gorgeous key-ring in your hand for a moment ? Smell some lovely soap ? You need to reconnect Nd be in mindfulness .....

Big hugs .... 💜🌷

@BlueBay. Its ok to hate these people. It's okay to be angry. You feel let down. Abandoned. But don't YOU abandon yourself.DDon't forget YOU give up on yourself.
Today's shit. But not everyday will be.
treat Yourself kindly.

Hi @utopia @Faith-and-Hope

I think I have calmed down now. i finished work at 4pm and am now on here but will do some knitting soon. I feel so left out by my pysch. I am seeing him on Tuesday so i am going to tell him how i felt this week with him not ringing me back. i want him to know how he left me feeling abandoned.

I'm okay now 🙂

That's sounding great @BlueBay .... it's so important to be able to acknowledge your feelings and communicate them ...

Whatever the reason was that the psych didn't respond to your messages, you are still owed an explanation and an acknowledgement of how that made you feel ....

I hope you have a good weekend .... you have achieved so much relationship work this week .... have you relised ? ... especially perhaps the relationship work with yourself .... feeling the strength and purpose of your own ideas and opinions and feeling that they have worth.

Well done .... 😊💕

Enjoy that knitting ..... I'm making a throw rug at the moment

@BlueBay. That's great. Sometimes you need to write it down - put it out there & then you can move on.
Do you realise what you have just done? You have just used a great coping technique. BRILLIANT job.
Im off line til late tonight. Going out with my son. Enjoy your knitting.
Very impressed with what you have managed to do.

Re: having a bad morning

Thank you @Faith-and-Hope. Yes he ran out of fire, my little dragon and we both enjoyed the night. We both laughed and it was wonderful to do something special like this with him.
I'd say it was a win/win for both of us

Re: having a bad morning

Glad to hear it @utopia .... 😊

I picked up your post about it earlier on another thread .... lovely to finish the week, and the night, in good form with each other ...

I'm off to bed now, but Plasmo has just popped up on Night Shift if you're looking for company ....

Sleep well ...

G'night 💤💕

Re: having a bad morning

Hi @BlueBay

It's okay to be angry - it really does seem as if your psyche is ignoring your calls - he does at least need to tell you why - after all - as you said - he told you to ring

You must be a great knitter - why don't I do that? - I have in the past - my mother knitted all of us large rugs in moss stitch - all in different coloured squares - and I still have mine and we were on good terms for a brief time then - she even made one for my cat - it's a good idea - knitting

I remember - back in the dark ages - 1986 - my psychiatrist told me that things would change - for a few years prior to 1986 I had increasing feelings of despair - I call that time my Descent into Hell - it really was - and when I was told things would change - I had done so much to try and improve things I though this was idiotic - nothing was going to change - nothing was going to get better

So what is better? What has to change? I struggled with this - but things did change - somethings were entirely out of my control but I walked out of that dark place with a much better pattern of life - and a lot of that was from my need - some inner thing I can never describe - to make things better

And it might have been knitting - I knitted a baby jacket for a friend's sister and when I mailed it the lady at the post office liked it and I found myself knitting more of them for her grand-babies - I believe many things helped me to recover from 1986 - maybe knitting those baby jackets was one of them

Allow those feelings of anger out - remember the pillow - kick the pillow - that might have been in another context but yes - kicking and punching pillows will release the anger that is getting out now you have started to release it

Still thinking of you
