having a bad morning

having a bad morning

I am feeling that my life at the moment is crap. I am so depressed and find that more so in the mornings. I hate myself so much, the way I feel, the way I act and behave. I know people will say to me 'oh just get over it' or 'you're not trying hard enough' - well to those people who say that: Do you have a mental illness; do you know what it's like to have depression and feel so dark that you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel; do you self harm to get rid of your emotions and to feel the pain; or do you think about suicide because it's all too much and you can't handle the pain anymore - NO. So don't tell me to just 'move on' or 'stop being too sensitive'.

I am not having a good morning this morning; tears are flowing as i am typing. And I have to get ready for work; damn work. Sometimes I wonder if life is worth living and why?

I really don't know how i am going go today at work; I feel so depressed. 😞

Thanks so much @utopia @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope

I just want to thank you all including @Decadian @NikNik @CherryBomb @Mazarita@Former-Member@Shaz51@Silenus@ethand anyone else I have forgotten for your help so far. You have all been an amazing support to me and have picked me back up when I have hit rock bottom and not able to pick myself up.

You know it feels like a weight has been lifted. My co-worker/friend hugged me tonight and said she could tell that I was different as soon as I knew I was going in.

I'm an scared of changing my meds and not knowing what these new ones will be like. I'm nervous but I am not worried as I have been there before and know the staff.

I really hope my new meds will change my moods, will help with my negative thinking.

Need to pack my suitcase tonight. What a week it has been, an emotional roller coaster.

Take care everyone, I will try to come on while I am in hospital. But if I don't I will be thinking of you all.

xxxooo

Hi @sadgirl

Sorry to hear you are struggling. I have gone through POF so I understand what you are going through. You can ask for a AMH test. But its not covered by medicare- I think its around $70 dollars.

Hope the change of meds help but I do know that if your hormones are going up & down and also low, that can really affect your mood, anxiety, stress and overall health. But depending on what you what to do- it may help getting treatment for this. There is different forms of treatment because I went through this young in my 30's, I have started treatment earlier in the year but I stopped. You can take the pill to level out the hormones too- that was the recommedndation for me because of my age.

I do know you looking into this and seeing specialsit will really help, see if you can organize this while in hospital and if possible to have the AMH test and have those results available for your specialist when you see him or her. Hope this helps.

@BlueBay

I am so glad you finally are getting admitted!! It was such a long wait! I'm just settling for my second night here, I'm not as scared as I was before and I had a good long cry this afternoon.

Good luck for you stay! Warm hugs and all the best!

Re: having a bad morning

You will be right once you are there @BlueBay. You can already feel the anxiety lessening. Take the time while you are there to also look at new relaxation techniques and other coping strategies. Look forward to talking to a happier more relaxed sadgirl. You may need to change your forum name when you come back. lol.

Good idea @utopia .... I like the idea of a name change .... we are certainly seeing a not-so-sad girl tonight with the excitement of going in tomorrow 😏
