having a bad morning

having a bad morning

I am feeling that my life at the moment is crap. I am so depressed and find that more so in the mornings. I hate myself so much, the way I feel, the way I act and behave. I know people will say to me 'oh just get over it' or 'you're not trying hard enough' - well to those people who say that: Do you have a mental illness; do you know what it's like to have depression and feel so dark that you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel; do you self harm to get rid of your emotions and to feel the pain; or do you think about suicide because it's all too much and you can't handle the pain anymore - NO. So don't tell me to just 'move on' or 'stop being too sensitive'.

I am not having a good morning this morning; tears are flowing as i am typing. And I have to get ready for work; damn work. Sometimes I wonder if life is worth living and why?

I really don't know how i am going go today at work; I feel so depressed. 😞

Hi @BlueBay

I'm so glad they have employed someone who can do the job - at least the place will hold together when you go to hospital - that will happen - though it's been weeks

About someone working late on your day off - or when you are on leave - they can hire someone part-time to fill in - or the manager can extend themselves - not your problem

I think I have missed something on the last page - I will have to get back to you about that one

@BlueBay

This is a rotten thing to have happened - and there isn't anything you can do about it - right now - but you can speak to the sister who you can talk to - after you have had yourself unscrewed

And from the outside it really does seem that you have things going wrong right left and centre - and this is always hard

About your Dad and whether or not you can see him again - ah sheesh - I know what they can do to you - but before this your father has made a choice to stick with your mother and his reason might be that he wants/needs peace at any price

But he has chosen to stay with your mother on this -

My father took a stand - omstars - 20 years ago now - that he wanted me in the family - and mum and other people had to suck it up until he died - and the whole thing collapsed like the towers fo 9/11 -

But he chose to stay with my mother for so many years and your Dad has chosed that too

And it's just screaming out ROTTEN ROTTEN ROTTEN

But it's not the time to deal with it now - after you have had your trip into hospital - where you will have the chance to work on all of this - and maybe tell your mother right into her face that you want to see your father and it's your right to find out if he wants this situation - or not

People have free will - we all do - and unfortunately we have to put up with that - but we have our free will too - even God has to put up with our free will

@BlueBay. What great news about another staff member who knows her stuff. Brilliant!
Even better, you managed to rock yourself to sleep. Being able to self soothe is a great achievement. Very proud of you.

Re: having a bad morning

Well I had my meeting with my supervisor this morning. We talked about some work stuff, xmas stock for the pharmacy and hours.

He then said reg. my letter to him about a pay increase. He said he has looked into it and will give me a slight pay increase $1.50 pr hour extra. He then said I need to not do all the jobs myself and delegate more so the work is spread evenly across all girls.

It was a good meeting, I achieved my pay increase, it's not a lot but it's better than nothing.

Hi @Shimmer

Even though the meeting was a good result - why am I feeling so crap, so depressed and not happy at all?

I don't understand. It was hard for me to write a letter asking for a pay increase and yet I am so down, I don't feel like it's an achievement. So confusing with my emotions. very mixed 😞

Re: having a bad morning

Dear @BlueBay. Well done on your meeting today. You got a pay rise (small but still a rise) & your boss said delegate. You don't have to do it all yourself. That is great! Your boss recognises that you have been doing too much. Your boss is trying to take some of the pressure off you. That's good. It shows your boss is respecting you and not wanting you to get too overwhelmed.
That's something good to focus on. Yes you are still not happy. That's because you have been sick. But you managed a letter, a meeting & a pay rise. Well done.
