Birthday Times

Birthday Times

BIRTHDAYS Hi all, every birthday month, since my youngest child died, & left me alone, suicidal thoughts intensify as i reevaluate if i can push through another year (does anyone else get that?). I have one living child, a 25yo son who lives away & determined to prove he doesn't need his mum. Visited him on the w'end & it didn't go well (cause i took my little dog) and i cried the 3hr journey home. Its so hard. My mother 1200k away is battling adenocarcenoma diagnosis that's just starting to grow faster. I want to help but can't handle her abuse & history & the two hovering argumentative brothers who have paranoid psychosis. Dad's in early dementia I & mar misses the man she was so dependant on. Because of my p/t comm support work mum thinks I'm a gov spy connected to Gardianship Board. Any attempts to help by cleaning or making suggestions is interpreted as criticism. She can be so vulgar and got the dr & authorities fooles she's coping. I don't know what to do with them all & my son & my sistet who cut me off after my breakdown when my girl died. Its all out of control & screams at me to disappear. My house is a mess & i'm having trouble conquering the kitchen sink much less the clutter. Anyway, just needed to tell someone, hope it doesn't depress you beautiful souls.

Re: Birthday Times

Thank You, amazing you have it to give with all you have on your plate.

My soup turned out yum.

Wanted to but couldn't even go outside today, too bright with the headache, even had to shut the curtains.

Just lit a candle for my girl. Miss her💜

Re: Birthday Times

I'm sure you do.

Be gentle with yourself ...

Sounds like you made a plan for the day and had something good to eat.

Rest well. Tomorrow is another day.

💌... ❤️

There are beautiful people in my life who feed me energy when my batteries are running flat, and that has happened for me today.

Keep passing on the love when you can. Just rest a bit when you can't. It's okay 🌿

Re: Birthday Times

Hi Drac0,
been thinking of you and how you got me through my birthday. Thank You. Wondering how you are. Just read through the posts & completely blocked out anything else. Even @Appleblossom - sorry
Its hard to keep picking oneself up. Been flat for a couple of weeks now, again, its different though, less anxiety, just empty. Maybe the 'Winter Blues. Some serious wet weather forecast for the weekend. Gloomy. If only i wasn't alone.

Re: Birthday Times

Hi @Former-Member

I just woke up. Are you still up ?

you might hear from @Drac0 a bit later today, or they might be away. ...........

It's really early here. Everything is really quiet. I fell asleep in front of one of those shows last night ...... one of the kids obviously turned it off, and the lights and everything. I'm not sure what time that was, but I feel like a got some solid sleep at least.

Just looking up the weather, we are expecting a little bit of cloud, but mostly sunshine today, not too cold. Nice walking weather. I hope I see some dolphins down at the river. There haven't been any, when I have got down there, for a few weeks. The river has been really flat though, mirror calm so all the sky is reflected - really pretty at sunrise and sunset. I can see that from our house. The strong blue and orange contrast on the water is so calming. You only get that when the water is mirror-still.

You live amongst trees don't you ? I remember you saying that the Frogmouth chicks were calling out nearby ....

We have kookaburras here, and magpies. I love the sounds of both. oh, and there's always the crows, and the little white galahs everywhere. We call them "babies" - they waddle around everywhere on the grass, looking like they are wearing giant nappies ....... they swing upside down from the tree branches, catching the wind and just rocking there. And now then there's the Pelicans. Occasionally you find them standing on the shoreline, but usually they are cruising up and down the river, or sitting on the really tall light posts across a nearby bridge.

I am going to doze in bed a bit longer if you are around too ?

💜
