evolving as we go

This isn't going to be the story of how we came to be as we are. This is going to be an ever evolving story - the story of who we're becoming as we're doing it. please feel free to read along, to comment, to chatter with us here about whatever, even if you're not tagged.

Just gonna tag a few people we've been interacting with on the forums lately but please feel free to invite others in if you think we might get along! The more the merrier. @Former-Member @Phoenix_Rising @CheerBear @Faith-and-Hope also gonna tag @Former-Member - I know you're not coming out of your den just now and that's okay but if you wanted to read along. 🙂

today has been a pretty peaceful day. we went to the zoo and took many pictures. the littles enjoyed watching from inside. on the way home we stopped at KMart and bought some half price easter chocolate. tomorrow we're going to go and buy more when all the other shops are on sale too!!

even with all of that, though, we are sad. friday just gone and friday just coming are both traumaversary days for us so things are a little rough. still, there are so many good things to hold onto, so we're trying to do that.

sorry all for basically doing a disappearing act. i don't think things insystem are going as well as i wanted to pretend, and there is a sense of overwhelmed and exhaustion coming from somewhere deep that is making it hard to connect. we've been reading in the various threads, appreciating beautiful art and craft work and wishing we had energy to reach out better. we're still here, somewhere, beneath all of this.

thank you @Former-Member. so sorry to hear you're feeling in a similar situation. i hope it's eased up for you now.

loving kindness to all who stop by today. we've had a reasonable day with some tv, lunch out with a friend, and a spot of shopping so we have some clothes that fit our currently overlarge body, and some new socks that don't have holes in 'em. now it's almost bedtime so we'll be able to snuggle in with our dog and rest ready for a new day tomorrow.

our real real t is back from her leave!! we're very happy to see her back and she has reassured us we don't have to worry about stopping the trauma work we were looking at doing with her. lots of reassured here.

a few of us are doing more colouring again, which is good for us. last night finished a turtle picture that took probably 7-8 hours work all up.

now working on an elephant for a support worker of ours who likes elephants. doing it in pink and purple 'cause she loves purple.
