Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Hello @TAB

Oh that is a pain in the proverbial..

Backs do not like sudden change in physical activity...

returning to work would make your back complain..

Hopefully with some very gentle stretches..will start to settle down for you..

pool definitely will help..

Take care

💛some sunshine to bring warmth to the sore area of your back..

Re: Living with Ourselves

Dear @Adge

These courses sound very disorganised ..

There seems to be little support and encouragement ..

You try so hard to find employment and my wish for you is that at least one single person will recognise that fact and reward you with a position..

No need to apologise for needing to write about something more uplifting..

You are in a safe place here ..

You need a place to go to where you can release some of that pent up emotion..

Your persistence and determination is a credit to you @Adge ..please remember that and do not let anyone take that credit away from you...It is a huge part of who you are..

Big hug Adge

💛sunshine to warm your heart xx

Hello @Appleblossom

I can sense the cheerfulness in your words after enjoying the company of new friends..

Powerful isn't it..

The added offer of a tutoring position is wonderful news for you..

Congratulations and well done..

Your good news has helped lift me slightly out of my blech..

💛 sunshine for everyone today

Hello @HenryX

I am proud to have been a part in helping you feel more at ease in writing ...responding to posts on the thread..

diving into the world of fantasy can be such a wonderful distraction as well as for me an interest...

I do intend to get back to that thread...

will tag you if you are interested..or you could choose to just read and decide for yourself..

not sure where my mind will take me yet laugh..

I am sending sunshine to everyone including myself

💛

Take care

Sophia

Re: Living with Ourselves

hi @Sophia1 im so so proud of you, your fully vaxxed now, yay!!!!!

wow, your sons seem very athletic, that is awesome, i used to do bmx racing, tennis and golf. did a lot of motocross when i wasa teenager, which i enjoyed.

gosh chess club, wow, that would have been awesome.

yes, you might be right about music, they tried me with different instruments, i just don't have rythm, it is ok, i cna't be good at everything

i have nearly 1,000 records from my mum and dad, and 1 signed box set of Elvis and 1 signed box set of the Beatles. records are really making a ocmeback, some of them are worth a lot of money, so might be an idea to keep them if yoou can

yes, he was very disiplined and focused, he was amazing, yes he started smoking because his mum and dad did, and he got in with the wrong crowd when he was young, i guess smoking in the 60's was a normal part of life. not so much research as there is now, i had no problem giving up, i just went cold turkey well i had no choice i could not afford them anymore.

please keep writing to your mum, you will regret it if you don't, i have so many things i wish i had told dad before he died, i just didn't have enough time with him, you are a good daughter and i am sure yuor mum loves you unconditionally, sometimes people struggle to show affection, i know my mum does.

that is really sweet your son must love you very much too.

hugs my dear friend.

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Sophia1

The only way of knowing whether a suggestion may be helpful is to offer it and see if it works for you.

This may work for you if you are using a computer word processor, such as "Microsoft Word" or "AppacheOpenOffice writer" which is the one that I use. If I have accidently deleted, even pages of work, I can most often recover the work by selecting "Edit" in the "Menu bar", top left of screen. In the "Edit" drop down menu, the first item in my word processor is "Undo". Clicking "Undo" may enable you to recover the work.

Best Wishes

@HenryX
