Hi @Former-Member
So pleased the phone calls brought some resolution for you and your on your way to having things sorted. That must take some weight off your shoulders which is a good thing.
I was sad to read about the phone call with your mother.....I also don't contact my mother. She was never a good one and nothing has changed. It can be hard without family support though - do you have any siblings or extended family you can talk to or lean on? I don't, but have some friends I can talk to, although most of them are struggling themselves now too. I am the one there for them presently. That seems ironic to me as they are very strong people, stronger them me but the roles have reversed for now. I like being needed.
My daughter came home last night and tonight. She briefly talks for 5 minutes and then goes to bed after work. We barely speak. Although she is with me in the flesh, she is somewhere else in spirit. I can feel very alone with her - but the priority is her well being. That is what I am most concerned about. But if she doesn't open up to us I am not sure what we can do. She is now in total denial about her abusive relationship - once again. She isn't well or stable in that regard.
I managed to get everything I planned to do done today and was feeling happy earlier on in the evening. Then my mood dipped later and am feeling a bit low - so am pushing through. With my male friend dying and his wife will probably move away to live at her daughter's - and losing my daughter once again, I am feeling grief and alone in it again. Sorry for being down tonight - I will fight my way back up again tomorrow - a new day.
Nothing like a warm shower then slipping into clean sheets for a good night sleep. Sweet dreams my dear @Former-Member 💜
