Broken beyond repair

Broken beyond repair

I've been fooling myself long enough, nothing is ever going to work for me. Some pieces will never fit, the others are crushed. There is no therapy for a mind in chaos. Reading, hopeing the next technique might work, but it never does. The darkness is overwhelming and that is all I have to offer, darkness and emptiness. Small steps always end up back where I started, in the deepest darkest pit, alone. There seems no point. I am too broken. It is all too hard and I no longer have the energy to keep swimming. Hopeless cases do exist, I am one of them.

Good morning @Maggie,

I'm just dropping by to say hello. My inside is telling me that you are struggling with some extra big feelings at the moment. If that is the case, I want you to know that I am sitting with you in those big feelings.

I hope you are doing something nice for yourself today.

Dear @Maggie. Sorry I never replied to your post of a week ago. I see you havent been here since then either. Hi also to @Phoenix_Rising @utopia @Lemonjuice @CheerBear @Former-Member, and anyone else who may be following Maggie's thread here.

Has little daZi been getting you out and about with the gardening and weeding lately? Thats really nice of your counsellor to help you and Maggie to the vets and to help you buy a TV. You obviously have made quite an impression on this lady, and its really nice that she obviously cares for you. Shows you the calibre of both her and yourself.

We've had some cool weather over most of the last week, although we are in for a few hot days again from today. Although we had a lovely storm only an hour ago. I took Holly outside in the rain. It was lovely, although Holly wouldnt stay and decided to leave me to it. She doesnt like getting wet feet, the little sook.

But Maggie while I was out there listening to the rain and feeling it come tumbling down, I looked up along the grape vine and spotted my little possum. I've not seen her in about 2 weeks. Not since I last saw her and the baby in her pouch. So I was really happy to see her again. But no baby this time, not in her pouch and not on her back. She must have left the baby back in her 'nest', which I havent yet discovered where it is. Anyway when I spotted her and went and got a few raspberries to give her, along with my camera to get a pic or two of her. So I held the berries up for her to take and she reached out and grabbed my hand firstly, then released it and took the berry in her little paw. And ate it. I took a few photos and will post some here for you to see. I even stroked her this time ,and gave her a little scratch behind the back of the ears. She is becoming quite tame I think, and raspberries are definitely a hit with her. Had to juggle the camera in one hand so not great pics. The first one is her about to reach out to grasp the berry. The second one is her having a nice feed of the berry. The third is another berry which she grasped from me, and you can see my fingers on the side.

I hope the photos cheer you up a bit, as seeing her again, did me. Really hope you're doing okay.

Sherry

Good evening @Maggie,

I'm just wandering by to let you know I am thinking about you right now. I am super looking forward to hearing your voice again when you are ready. What you have to say matters to me.

By the way, I'm going to listen to a new story tonight. I will leave it here for you in case you want to listen to it to.

Good evening @Maggie,

I am dropping by again to tell you that I am thinking about you right now. My inside is telling me that you are struggling with some very big feelings at the moment. I look forward to seeing you when you are ready to pop into Forum Land. I very much enjoy listening to all that you have to say.

I super hope your awesome social worker is giving you some good support at the moment. I am seeing TTT tomorrow and I am super looking forward to it. You know how TTT is reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to me? Last week she read about how mysterious it is that no one ever goes in or out of Willy Wonka's factory so I think tomorrow we are going to read about the Oompa Loompas.

I hope today had some good in it for you Maggie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF7yFOlOk9M

Just dropping in briefly, as I have been a bit worried about not having seen you around lately.

Same as Phoenix_Rising, I am thinking of you and willing you well.

Much love to you.
