Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Note* Ive just started this thread again so it will be visible. Once I deleted my account it no longer shows up.

please join in again if and when needed.

@Former-Member Thank you so much for your lovely reply and loved that you like that bit of Monty python too. I think that is my favourite bit of all the movies. John Cleese is a funny man. I have a soft spot for Michael Palin too.

I have not had a very successful day at ticking boxes but I did manage to survive my psych appointment without too much drama. A few difficult moments but it was ok. I did go in like a naughty child waiting for my punishment which probably is not the right headset to see your psych 🤔😳. Enough of me for today me thinks. Have three of my kids here tonight. Best if I go cook tea.

Oh no @Shaz51. It always brings out lots of emotion for me purchasing white goods. Hate the hassle of it and the money but love having something new too (even new second hand I mean). Good luck with it. 💜🤗

OH, damn. does the bowl look like it might have a new home as a flower container? or are fed up with it and it's already gone? I'd understand either way.

I'm thinking plant-y thoughts as you can see. but really, dinner, have to go serve it now it's ready.

I made dinner tonight - seafood mornay - goal met!

Hahaha just noticed I missed tagging @Shaz51 in the post above about the potential of the washing maching bowl becoming a planter!

Lots of things got done today, only 2 of which were on any list! But good things still achieved.

  1. Order meds from chemist for delivery tomorrow
  2. Order milk, bread, veg, fruit for delivery tomorrow
  3. Order gas for delivery tomorrow
  4. Walk to mailbox
  5. Feel cheery for as long as possible
  6. Remember to eat lunch
  7. And weirdest - called authorities re scam collector - turned out I did a good thing and helped a person who was in a very sad situation, so it ended well even though it started out less than good.

I really hope there has been some lightness of spirit in the day or the night for each of you who pass by here.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

new washing machines can be fun - what do you plan on putting in the old bowl @Shaz51, if anything?

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Teej sorry hon, having trouble catching up on all the posts and missed tagging you in earlier on a couple of things.

On the days I see a gp or pdoc I don;t have anything other than getting myself ready to go, getting there safely and getting home safely on my list. Dinner is often prepared the day before because everything could go to shite and I'd like to be prepared, but other than that, that's a whole lot of big enough things to do on that day.

I also allow myself one or two days following to regroup and recuperate from either or both of those types of visits. They take too much out of me to put any extra strain on myself.

Don't you feel bad for missing a couple of boxes when you did so well at the psych. You're doing awesomely I think. Go you.

Have a great day today, it's going to be busy for me.
