Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Note* Ive just started this thread again so it will be visible. Once I deleted my account it no longer shows up.

please join in again if and when needed.

Rang hospital to see how dad is. Change of shift - his nurse had never looked after him. Couldn't tell me if he is eating, on IV antibiotics or even able to walk 😞 I just wanna go get him.

@SadUnicorn I'm sorry to read about your chronic physical pain, and your difficult situation with emotional pain as well. Also your losses, including your step children, and the technical activity that occupied you.

Wishing you all the very best...

@Former-Member I'm glad your son's visit went well 🙂 I like the sound of your daily diary tick-off with smiley faces 🙂

Sounds like you're really getting stuff done around your house, too...

Hi folks

I'm having an awful struggle today

blow after blow lately and stress is at the level of keeping me stuck/frozen

I have had a shower and put a load of washing out and taken medication.

i need to take small steps starting with

  • Make bed
  • Meditate
  • Physio exercises
  • Write 1 email

Will check in later and step by step...

S1 called into work so now I am asked to take toddlers to kindy...

Well we got there at 10am.after cooking breakfast

1. Meds taken

2. Load of washing on line

Next: breakfast dishes, beds, bathroom. So stuff this mi, put on happy face and do what has to be done ✅I’ll let you know if it gets done.

The choice about whether crying under the doina or faking it takes its toll

Really happy to hear this , I wish they were all like that for you.

From being under the doona to cooking breakfast, taking kids to kinder, hanging out the washing and taking meds, that's really good, @Eve7 , I'm impressed.

Good luck with the other things on your list...
