Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Note* Ive just started this thread again so it will be visible. Once I deleted my account it no longer shows up.

please join in again if and when needed.

Hey @Zaphod I love that book! I didn't know it was controversial. ACT makes sense to me.

I really dont like the way they work or the games they play. Very dangerous, vicious, nasty AND toxic business.

Hello all

Having trouble accomplishing anything this weekend. The 2 week long heatwave finally broke last night but my sleep has been so disrupted that I still didn't sleep well. Time for prn tonight.

Anyway my goals for the rest of the day, in reverse order, are

  • sleep
  • early night and/or read in bed
  • healthy dinner
  • transfer photos from phone (nearly full) to hard drive
  • do some study - at least start

The thing that I've been putting off is looking at my budget. This is definately a head in the sand problem. I'm scared to look It makes me seriously anxious.

Hope everone is ok and getting a good balance between rest and activity @Shaz51 @Mazarita @Teej @Bunniekins @utopia @Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7

Goodluck with your day @frog It seems like you have it really well mapped out and know what you are doing - I often find writing things down in lists helps me to get on and actully do them ...and I like being ble to cross things off when they are done too - a sense of accomplishment really helps.

Looking at your budget is also something I need as it is pay day this week and I have a couple of bills that need to be paid - at least the mortgage is paid for this month

@frog Hi frog there is nothing like money (or lack of) to make me freak out so I know what you mean. Wish I could come up with a solution for you unless you take Scarlett O'Hara's advice from Gone with The Wind and say "Tomorrow I'll think of some way . . . after all, tomorrow is another day."
