Dear @Bubbles3,

I am very happy for you and your husband! This is great news and a wonderful start for both of you ! I hope your husband will join this wonderful and supportive forum as well.

I found it really helpful to learn together with my wife about her C-PTSD. She knows so much about it and through that I learnt what I need to do to help with the recovery. Trust and open communication is really important.

Big thumbs up for you !!!!

Re: I have mental health but worried about my husband

Well

Im sitting here with hubby and all he want to is argue with me. Im trying to tell him how goid iv been over the last week and hard i have been trying to do the right things .....with me .....with meds..... with the house.....with the kids and he still think its not good enough. All week he has kept on telling me soomething bad is going to happen but no ....it hasnt.
He just doesn't get it. He doesnt see how hard i have been trying.
I have my court date on Wednesday and im handling alot better than the first one. Which is good ..... well that what i think anyway.
He just thinks something bad is going to happen.

The other day he said to me that he thinks he is depressed and twice was ready to jump out of his truck while driving. Now that scares me. I dont know whats going on in his head. He told me to forgit about it and he was fine. I dont know about that.

I think in the end ..... when he sees me improving he wont have these feelings anymore.
But he just needs to start seeing that im improving already......which he doesnt yet.

I dont know what to do.

I feel lost.

His mate will be coming around soon to have a few beers with and i know he will be all happy then and then when he goes he will be back to his normal self again. Which i dont like. I want him to be happy around me to.

I dont know. Im just lost

That must be so hard for you @Bubbles3

I know when my darling is doing better though I can sometimes find it hard to believe that it will not continue so have to make a consious effort to think and act more poaitive,

It could well be that your hubby is happy you are doing so much better but dosent know how to respond. The fear of renewed crisis can often be overwhelming.

Congratulations on how well you have been doing, that is something to be proud of. Will be thinking of you also on your court day and truat everything goes ok for you.

Sorry Inhave not been around to respond much lately, I just have a lot on and when I am I often dont know what to say, you are in my thoughts though and it is good to see when things are going well for you.
