Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Thanks @Former-Member, have spent hours sitting with a mostly sleeping Mum so blanky is growing nicely. I will try and post a progress photo.
I’m looking forward to a day off tomorrow and I hope whatever it is you do tomorrow and whatever it is you prefer not to be wished for goes nicely.

She had two pieces of whole meal multigrain toast @Catcakes, so she wasn’t hungry .... just remorseful at missing garlic prawns in coconut milk with jasmine rice ..... which was her preference.
When she is in a bratty state of mind, these are the only lessons she will listen to. Bright enough to play baby dragon games, but not bright enough for autonomy ..... 😔
