Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Oh that is a long day @Catcakes 🙁 I'd imagine that might be pretty draining. Knitting is a great thing to be doing while your mum was sleeping. Was it the project I saw in craft corner? Love those colour shades.

Yes @CheerBear, it’s a blanket for a baby due in May.My D2 has told me I need to do at least five rows per day.
I will go to Mum’s again tomorrow but I have Sunday off.🌿

What a special gift @Catcakes. Setting a number of rows a day is a great idea 👍 One of my projects at the moment is to finish off a baby blanket for someone. A relative of theirs was making it when they passed away and someone asked me if I might be able to finish it off. I should set a goal for each day too because I'm running out of time now.

Haven’t stopped yet ...,, just on pause waiting for one of my kids to get back to me about pick-up or not .....
Long tiring day @Catcakes ...... can you have a soak in a tub for a while ? It mucat be quite physically taxing as well.

Stopping by to say hello - missed yesterday as I had a nice day doing different stuff with my flat mate, so that was really nice for both of us.
@Catcakes glad to hear you're having a day off tomorrow, that will be most welcome I'm sure. and you baby blanket must be coming along nicely too. The target number of rows is a very good idea for when there's a time limit, clever daughter!
