Twisted -self care

D3 and I drove into the city yesterday cos she said she couldn’t cope with people and trams @Catcakes ...... I spent too much time noticing the trees and got caught in hook-turn lanes and at one stage, in the middle of an intersection when the traffic suddenly stopped moving and the light soon turned red ...... right on tram tracks with a tram coming ..... so I moved into a bus lane and sat there with hazard lights on till the traffic moved again, and a very nice taxi driver let me change into proper lanes again ......

One thing I have noticed is that the drivers around here are much more forgiving than in our other Aussie city ....., reminds me of where we go and stay overseas. While the drivers there (overseas location) have a bad reputation, they are giving and forgiving in a way that allows everyone to get where they need to go.

Do you feel like you are getting some answers with your partner’s treatment @Catcakes ?

We’ll know in a couple of weeks. CT and x rays this arvo then to see knee surgeon for possible surgery on both knees.😖
D2 had lots of bloods taken this morning.
Dr for me late this arvo.
Missed out on my tram ride through the city as partner was blindsided by the news and we’ve come home.

How are you feeling @Catcakes ? Guessing you had pencilled it in as a possibility ?

I am exhausted. Apart from the coughing from this cold, I find the run aroun from home to hospital to Drs bloody frustrating.
Still, we are getting there. I have to remind myself that some have it worse and my partner’s condition, while life altering, is not life threatening.

I have been in the car with a road rager 😔 ..... sorry to hear there are some locals not being kind to you @Catcakes ......

Back home and no showdown has occurred apparently ...... both S2 and Mr are sleeping.
