Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Do you have another colour you can put on top to tone it down @Catcakes ? I will often paint a light colour over dark, or visa-versa .... one coat each ..... to deliberately mute the colour underneath.

this made me smile @Catcakes & @Faith-and-Hope because there is a middle aged-ish lady in the town I live in who has the whitest of short hair and she often has it spiked with the ends coloured blue or pink, or purple or green and sometimes all of them.
It's the coolest look and seeing her always makes my day a bit brighter 'cos of her total coolness with herself. 
It's been a few years since i"ve seen her though 'cos I don't go out anymore.

Hi @Catcakes,
I'm pleased to hear you are waist-high in ok-ness. I super hope the ok-ness continues to rise.
I would love to add something deep and profound to this conversation about nail polish, but given I've never used nail polish in my life, I think I may be a little out of my depth with this conversation.
