Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Hi @Catcakes 💕
This is a seedling 🌱. I used it on another thread last night to represent “face plant” (😐🌱) ..... meaning I was dozing off on my iPad in bed ..... where I end up bopping my forehead with the iPad as I fall asleep and my arms, that were holding the iPad, relax.

Good morning @Catcakes,
It looks like there was a bit of muddle happening yesterday. I'm super glad to see you are still here in Forum Land. Muddles are...well...muddling. Oh well, that was yesterday and today is today. Yay for getting to start a brand new day every 24 hours!

It’s lonely out here in exile @Faith-and-Hope.
I watch the merry go round but it’s hard to get back on.
Sometimes it slows a little but I back away.

It’s been okay @Catcakes. I made it to the art shop in the middle of the day,, but ended up leaving the gear there to pick up on Monday cos I started feeling quite unwell. Don’t know whether it’s the heat getting to me or what, but I am resting up and might need to go to bed early.
How are things settling for you ? I didn’t ask how your beach day went ? You talked about helping your mother pack for the beach, so I assume you went with her ?

My sister took Mum to the beach @Faith-and-Hope for a few days and my partner and I joined them for the weekend. Pretty relaxing really.
