Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

@Catcakes
Like you, I have difficulty asking for help and getting it.
So I have grown to be self reliant, but if we have to be too strong and manage too much on our own it is hard to then be social and feel gratitude for others. Still working at all that ... I now do like to be able to call it as it is for me ... and respect your posts as doing that for you.
I have been away from home and my computer generally.
Last week I bought a litter tray for my cat. After they were about a year old, they did it outside. Now the only pile of poo I see ... is in that box ...
We all feel a bit shitty sometimes. Do what you have to do. Time out or time online ... I dont like the idea of favourites ... and am working on the social reality that seems to mean that people do feel and respond differently. If we have more unusual experiences, there are less likely to be those that relate.
Take care @Catcakes whatever you decide.

Hi everyone,
Thank you all again for your feedback.
This is a very challenging conversation as each situation is very different and very different conversations happen.
As these conversations were via email, we are unable to go into detail about each matter on here for privacy reasons, which also means private emails with mods to members can't be shared in this forum.
As I have mentioned to others, if you wish to discuss moderator related matters, please email us at team@saneforums.org.
If you wish to make a complaint you are encouraged to email info@sane.org
We are going to remove posts from here on in that are regarding moderators and their role, as they are not helpful for the broader community. As I said though, we are here to listen if you wish to email us.
Kind Regards,
Nik

Whether that is the case or not @Catcakes I enjoy having you around. You are just not in a very good place atm and the smallest things can seem really huge - I know how that feels - but you have support here if you want it ![]()
This little pin would miss her bowling ball ![]()
