Twisted -self care

@NikNik was so quick to offer to close my account I fell over backwards.
Spend hours supporting others..... no problem
Express upset, distress get a like ( if you’re lucky)
But show anger...... you get hundreds of words lecturing you on the job of the moderators.
What you see is not what get

I'm sorry if you perceived my email to mean that we want you to close your account. This certainly wasn't the case.

The intention of the email was to provide clarification and support you in whichever decision you made about staying or leaving the forums.

We never want members to feel pressured to remain in the forums if it doesn't help them, but of course we want people to stay if they are finding the forums helpful.

If you wish to discuss this further please drop us an email.

Just a thought- you might want to reconsider what and how you say the above to members cause it comes across as if you are jumping with joy to see that member leave. And that is incredibly hurtful to the recipient who is already in a very vulnerable position.

@NikNik Basically said it is a members choice to decide if they want to leave/stay....
No one is going to force a person to leave/stay
@NikNik is simply doing her job!! With the amount of cases i am sure you deal with i think all of your responses were supportive....
I feel for all the support workers must be hard to manage others healths as well as maintaining their own sanity geez

All I was saying is that maybe she should consider rewording it, that's all. It wasn't a personal attack.
