Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

@Catcakes I giggled at you eating creak. 
27 degrees is a super nice temperature! I agree that fasting blood tests suck. I struggle most with the no coffee bit!
The rest of the day does sound hard. 
I super hope your walk with your dog brightens your evening. I used to love going for super long walks along the beach with my perfect (M).

Are you home from walking the dog @Catcakes ? I am just heading out walking myself ......
I have left my three girls constructing the gingerbread house they started before Christmas and didn’t end up finishing before one went away ...... she chased her engineer brother out of the kitchen cos he dropped in to pick up the other brother ..... S1 is the chief gingerbread house constructor at the moment so D1 was too self-conscious to try to put it together under his confused gaze ...... at this point he asked whether the roof pieces that were too small were in fact supposed to be walls, and the stuck together walls supposed to be the roof ?? D1 defiantly said she didn’t care, so I am expecting some amazing Dr Seuss creation when I go home ...... and hopefully a semi-clean kitchen to boot.
Good to see them all in one room and being cheeky with each other.
It’s the bird hour by the river ..... ducks, seagulls, white cockies so far ......
