@Bubbles3 😞 I agree this time of year is the worst. It's super-stressful and at the same time every event is soaked in booze.

@gypsylee I hear you about the bottle shops. It's one of the things that undoes me. There are two within about 100m of my front door and two other larger ones at a 5 minute walk. I have to walk past them every day.

I stopped drinking - using the Ocsober charity as a cover - in 2014. 29th September, 2014. I will not drink today.

I can’t have any alcohol in the house because I drink it compulsively when my anxiety is bad (which is often). The irony of social anxiety is that it often stops me going to the bottle shop, but it’s not a nice place to be at all when your head is basically fighting with itself.
