Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I am so angry and fustrated with my mental Illness plus my physical illnesses.
I am on holidays doing something that I love and I can't shake that horrible room feeling.

I can feel myself dissociating and am fed up with my boyfriend leaving me alone when I'm struggling mentally

I'm physically and mentally tired and starting to feel totally heartbroken about my relationship with my boyfriend.

I'm doing my best to be chilled and be OK to be on my own.
As each moment gets harder and harder to find a positive in my situation I feel the monster in me taking over and whispering in my ear everything opposite to the words I need to hear.

Is it had to be angry that when I need my boyfriend the most he is never around?

Is it because I suck as a person or am I just not that important to him?

Which is worse? The thought of being alone forever or being with someone who can only be around me when I'm happy?
Why can't I be better?

@AwpgirlYour very lucky to have a boyfriend, don't take it for granted!. You could have friends and family support you.

I would love to have a girlfriend and I know from past exprience it would make me very happy and it's so hard for me to get a girlfriend.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

At first I wasn't going to respond in case@lfs took my reply the wrong way.
However as I have been doing my best to change my mental focus I feel the need to clarify.

The only family I have to support me directly are my children and I personally prefer to let them live normal lives rather than lean on them when I need support.

I have very few friends. Most of my friends including my ex husband left me when I became seriously ill.

As a result of experiencing having the people who are supposed to stand with you during periods of severe ill health; basically abandon you ; I cherise the people who are in my life.

I don't take any relationship for granted least of all the one with my boyfriend. That's why instead of unloading all my negative emotions on him I chose to get it out of my head in this room.

I don't subscribe to the concept that a person with a lucky to have a boyfriend nor girlfriend. In my mind that puts you in the position of placing the other person above you.

Personally I feel that if two people can be together and experience love they are both lucky.

I can't do this today. Therapy sucks, it really does. I just need all this to go away. I need to go away. I can't adult anymore. I wish I wasn't here like before. I just can't do this.

I have Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (a serious sleep disorder). I struggle daily with the fatigue resulting from it.

Someone who has Narcolepsy (another sleep disorder) said that she once had a rare moment of alertness & clarity of mind - when she thought "Wow, this is what normal people feel like"...

Those "Wow I'm alert & clear-headed" moments are very rare for me.

Soo much stuff has bothered me from my past. And present. And future. For such a long time. So from now on I'm trying to strengthen the side of my internal voice which is nice kind caring compassionate understanding accepting trusting believes in me forgives me and supports me.
