Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Nobody will care until its to late. I have spoken to someone irl about it and all i got was 'you can get through this dont worry' i know i have before but i am taking dangerous steps at this point because i i struggle to care....i guess thay says it all how can i expect people to care when i struggle to myself. Its a dark and lone road i am on but like everything in life its a choice right?

I can hear how much you are struggling @Former-Member. Has something happened lately to make things harder?
Have you had enough to eat and drink today?
Are your regular medications up to date?
What helps when you’ve felt this way before?

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Former-Member - when we journey down that dark & lonely road, it's not a choice. Our mind & the thoughts have taken us there and even if we wanted to get out of it, no matter how hard we try, we can't. These thoughts happen because we're so overwhelmed with trying to cope when we can longer do so. And you say ' I guess thay says it all how can i expect people to care when i struggle to myself'. I have two answers to that. First of all, no one can understand what you are going through unless they've been there themselves. And people mean well when they are trying to comfort you, but they lack understanding. Secondly, people do care about you, even when you struggle to. Because we've been there, I've been there for a very, very long time and you do loose the ability to care about yourself or what happens. But do you think I would take the time to seek you out even though you didn't tag me? Because I don't want to happen to you what happened to me. Many people on this forum know what I've been through. You can get through this, but there's no denying it's a really difficult, dark road. You need support, lots of support, particularly professionals who understand you, validate you and can help sit with you in the dark times. And we can support you here by sitting with you in silence or we help you with distractions or coping skills. I'm more than happy to help you. And I'm sure there's others too. Do you have a safety plan? Any professional support at all? And I strongly suggest if you haven't do so before call Suicide Call Back Service. They are often very helpful and you can call every hour if needed. Then get in touch with SANE helplines tommorow. Please try to keep yourself safe. Tag me whenever things get too much. Being in the same time zone as you I can help you in real time. I like you @Former-Member, and you matter to me. I would miss you very much.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

What worry's me the most is people being so stigmatizing towards me because of my mental health. People trying to put me in a box, when I'm capable of so much more!. People not giving me oppurtunity's to do things!.

@Former-Member, I’m getting really sleepy, I’m on the eastern side, but I do care about how you are feeling. If I doze off can you continue to reach out to others here?
Take care @Former-Member 🌿
