Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

@eudemonism I read. Still would be annoying having it go on and off for 8 hours straight. Must have been an issue with it to begin with to be doing that unless you burnt the house down lol. I don't think you should have been charged but hey 👋

I get good news. Amazingly good news. I have a safe place to live and people who care deeply about me.

Hubby still in hospital. 15 days so far. Hopefully he'll be home in a day or two.

The health care system is so frustrating...and some of the so-called health providers don't read medical histories or medication lists and things can go pear-shaped pretty quickly....but I don't want to focus on that because I'm too tired and just want to lie down and forget all the things that are too difficult to deal with right now.

And the bills still come in and require payment......oh well, it never rains but it pours!

I've got other stuff to think about as well, so it's like trying to juggle and keep all the balls in the air at once!!!!!

I'm so thankful for the long weekend.

Take care everyone.

Hi @Awpgirl, I can be grateful for all the goodness in my life, but there are times when the black dog sneaks back to shadow me....I don't have to be having bad luck or be down in the dumps to be depressed.....depression for me doesn't depend on my moods....and I don't feel guilty for the times I am depressed when all is going well in my world. Just another mystery, I suppose.

I MUST distance myself from Lil Bro and not feel sorry for him...I don't want to abandon him but he is falling back into the substance abuse pattern big time! If I don't distance myself, this whole situation will end badly for me and I don't want to get hurt. His behaviour has changed completely since I met him at the end of November. Maybe his true colours are coming to the fore as his current behaviours and personality can only be described as narcissisitic and pathological.....at least I'm in a better place psychologically and can see this. We've had some good times as he is such good company, but I'm not his mother and what he does is his business. I don't want to be any part of that lifestyle. I'll miss him because he's the only person who just gets me and the way I am, and he's a good and kind person....but despite the mixed emotions I must look after my own interests first.

Thanks for listening.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I'm really annoyed at what my mental and physical condition has amounted to after 12 years of being on medication. Too the point of having very violent thoughts toward the system and paid people who have been involved. It is a dead end road that makes me think I'd be better off dead. And everything I have learned and everything I know. Amounts to a big pile of negative stuff that appears to be everyone else's fault which no one wants anything to do with. Because they've either benefited from it, been paid to do it, or it's been a case of them or me. I tell the truth all the time and every time. Only to get lied to in return countless amounts of times.
