Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I have had an amazing couple of days receiving so much good news and love.
Yet I am here alone feeling the depths of despair deep in my soul.
How can you be loved when I'm so damaged?
How can anyone find me attractive?
How am I allowing myself to open up to someone when my previous relationships have caused so much pain
Why would anyone want me in their life?
How can I undo the severe and damaging negative programming that my brain has absorbed.

Do I choose this path? The one defined by someone else and keep that person in my life?
Or do I leave someone I love because I want more than they are prepared to give me?
Why am I so fixated on being in a happy marriage when my two.orevioys have damaged me.
Why am I longing so much for happy ever after when it seems like an elusive dream

I have no MH Support service (worker) after tomorrow.

They said there could be an extension of time (service) - but then refused when I asked for it several months ago.

I spent over 12 months on their waiting list before I got the service.

It never met any of their lofty goals, or my modest expectations.

It was very helpful with job-search & applications - but that was not the purpose or intention of their service.

It's supposed to be for MH recovery & for social support & social networking.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

The Dr now thinks that I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), as a result of my 3 major Bowel surgeries (stoma & bag) 2 & 1/2 years ago.

That's on top of scholiosis back pain, sleep apnoea, & CPTSD.

But the Dr had no treatment suggestions, other than a pile of more tests.

I've been trying to manage it myself, for the past few years, since my surgeries.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Too whom it may concern,

I got charged $300 for a broken fire alarm to be changed the other day. It was going off for about 8 hours. After I cooked some lamb chops. And I kept turning it off and it kept coming back on. Until my friend suggested to take the battery out. And in the process. I broke it. Than get charged $300 for it to get fixed which took the guy twenty minutes. Just what I need after a $500 vet bill. And a license renewal form. When my dog was injured. Me mate who has a brain injury asked if I wanted to go for a drive with his support worker. So I'm a little bit annoyed at both of them because of their involvement with the incidences which cost me dearly.

Too whom it may concern,

Ya think people care about you. When really they only care about themselves. If you care about someone. It's basically in your own best interests that you're doing this. It's like. Wanting what's best for someone who serves a purpose in your life. It's like, seeking care from people because you know they will, because it's in their own best interest. Life is a joke. Than when you're truly down and out. All you really got in life is to be there for people. Who are essentially using you for their own best interests. No word of a lie. Re: last post, plus the registration on my car needs renewing.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@eudemonism ....Were you required to be personally charged even though it is a government rental?

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Former-Member I'm not sure what's going on. They wanted me to pay off the amount. But I put a complaint in. It sounded like they thought I deliberately broke it. When really I was trying to stop it from going off.
