Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Today is not a good day and whilst I know my thoughts and feelings will pass eventually, is has become too hard to cope with it in the present moment. I hate when my mind plays games against me. This is a cruel existence.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I've been plagued for the last 5years with a mess that gives me constant stress. In that time I have lost my marriage paid out over 80k and been driven twice towards ending it all. And the future looks to be not much better. But yes it will I am just struggling at this time. I tried to return to work and didn't come out of that too well so now I have to wait while my headspace improves but how does that happen when the stressors remain.
There is good things happening as well but I don't want to dump them.

@Rightomate= I have know this is a place of no repli
You, but I feel compelled as your new hear, and I want to say welcome, and your definitely not alone. This is a good place to dump your worries. People care, and listen. Better to get it out of your head. Stressors come and go, get better and worse and change. Just focus on the day ahead of you and don't expect too much of yourself. Most people can only handle 3 things at once. Slow down, and just handle immediately what's in front of you. You are doing the best you can.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I am finding that I am responding to different threads....

releasing my thoughts on here.....

reading posts on each sides...

only to delete what I have written...I want to reply to so many..especially people with whom I have connected...there have been periods where I have just not been able to..

I have a collection of written responses that I delete on a regular basis ongoing..

I seem to be in a state of almost constant confusion...not knowing which way to turn...which direction to go in...

I have been diagnosed as having some dissociation with the outside environment for some time now..

I feel that I have drawn further within myself as more trauma for family or friends is presented in my life...

I worry that any response I make to others here might offend them....hurt them...that I have responded out of context to that particular thread or even forum..

I am an intelligent person ...I have been told that I have high emotional intelligence...

where does that go? does it take a holiday when the mind gets out of whack?

life is the absolute pits so often....there are too many people at risk of not being here for long in my life...

as others have written somewhere...sometimes focus on your breathing...practice mindfulness... colour in some mantras....find new interests...what are you good at??? just does not always do it...

.there are moments...where nothing external works....we can internalise our feelings at the same time as recognising and acknowledging...when there are too many coming in all directions .....shutting down everything in the mind...just trying to have quiet is so very hard....

isolation often is too much quiet.....quite an oxymoron

I think I have turned into a silent question mark

Just to say, I am hearing you, @Former-Member, and please never worry about offending me. I welcome your words, your presence behind 'likes', or your silence, as you wish and feel most comfortable.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Lots of stuff going round and round in my head.

Will hubby be prescribed strong medication when he comes home from hospital? His specialist estimates he will be in palliative care within two years. I want hubby to be comfortable, not struggling so much to exist. The last six months it feels like I've been watching him gradually fade away.

The time is fast approaching where I need to consider working part-time instead of full-time. But I suppose that is something I don't have to decide upon straight away...best to see what the next couple of days bring...and see how things are once hubby is discharged from hospital.

And I don't want to abandon my random bus friend Lil Brother. He has such a positive influence on me and spending even an hour a week with him calms and soothes my soul. He is so precious to me and I care for him so much.

Thanks for letting me get it out of my system...again.

Take care, everyone.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I'm screaming at the top of my voice but no words come out. Why can anyone here my desperate pleas, my forgiveness over broken gaurentees, my sorrow at your hurt and misunderstandings. I know, I know I keep saying I will stop this blame game, this need to self destruct. But tell me this, how else do I get attention and be taken seriously? I feel so much like the boy who cried wolf. And now the wolf wants me to shut the fk up. It's tired, hungry for a tasty morsel. So I'm it's next meal.
