Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

My mental health is seriously deteriorating.
My trauma was triggered last night and I spend most the day alone. I had been at my boyfriends and now I'm home alone. Barely remember coming home.
It appears one of my children is choosing to live with their Father and it's breaking my heart.
I already lost my daughter to him.

I am having all sorts of negative thoughts about my current relationship with no real basis to have them.

I feel I must have be on the brink of dissociation.
I have to see my ex husband on Wednesday and have commited to meet friends tomorrow. So I don't want to go to hospital.
So much bad thoughts through my head. I don't understand why when I need people around me that everyone leaves.

I feel really far away from the world. I feel like a ghost. That I died already

Hi @Awpgirl

I realise I'm not supposed to respond, but it sounds like you've got so much going on at the moment.

I don't have any answers but I'm thinking of you.

Take care.

Thanks @Bimby2 I appreciate your thoughts.

I've been struggling with fatigue & dissociation over the past few weeks - so Jelly cat using that opportunity to act up big-time was the last straw.

Hi @sally4

I'm an alcoholic, too. I've been trying for quite a while to cut out alcohol but it's so difficult. I have an enlarged liver...the next step chirossis (don't know if that's how you spell it.) I agree, the withdrawal symptoms are horrendous and I often think it would be easier to keep drinking. Are you quiting without any help? Have you received any counselling or advice from a doctor?

Please take care.

I am scared that what happened today will happen again and I have no control over it. I don’t know what to do and am afraid to tell anyone what happened. I worry that I won’t be able to control my thoughts.

Hi Sally 4,
I hear you.
I often feel lonely.
It’s a warm day but I’m eating soup.
What are you up to today?
