Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

How can people let that happen. How can they have a history and you still think it is ok for them to be around. You could have stopped this a long time ago, but you choose to ignore it then. I wish I could tell you but I cant, its too late and what would be the point. You would put the blame back onto me anyway. It wouldn't be your fault, it never is. Why did you believe that is would just disappear if you didn't talk about it. I worry that it will never end, that it will torment me for the rest of my life.

I’ve just stumbled across more vile hate and judgement and prejudice and it is NOT okay. I worry that I will have no choice but to leave—helping places are meant to help, not harm.

Sorry, I would have replied sooner @Former-Member, but I was away from the computer having a panic attack. Thank you again for your kindness.

I did reply to a different post humourously...in response to humour...which helped me in my state of mind...

my turn

I have concerns that this idea of moderators taking a back seat is putting more pressure on community guides who are basically people like you and myself who have been on here for a length of time....have acted within a set of guidelines......

community guides...yes I think is a great concept...

my concern is that there are people using this site who do not have the same concept.....response...reaction...to others ...

this site is now therefore relying on community guides who are here in the first place for support....to give support to others who need support from someone who has qualifications in a certain field....

this site is growing....

yes....it is growing because members feel safe and are seeing and feeling protected by other members..

my quandary and major concern is that we as members who have our own issues...reach out to assist others out of compassion...sadly not available in the real world in some instances....

we are the ones and others who will yes who will fall by the wayside are yet again numerals in a society that cannot help itself but look for profit .......at whose expense...

thank you to all of my friends should I be denied access

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Hi everyone. My life has turned to shit again so I’m haunting the forum because you folks make me feel better. So I did a stupid thing and watched “13 reasons why” which triggered me. Now I’m off work for 2 weeks because I’m so off the rails. How did this happen? I just lost control and I feel I’ll never get it back. I feel stupid asking for help as I should be strong enough to deal with stuff on my own. I know what I should do to take care of myself but I don’t feel I’m worthy or I deserve it. I hate my husband for yelling at me that it’s my fault he gets angry because he “can’t deal with my moods” and I hate myself more for being weak. I’m so angry I cry and that makes me more angry (again, weak). Grr. I’m stubborn and don’t want to give up but on the other hand all I want to do is walk away. I don’t get it. Most of all I feel let down by my dr. She says no amount of meds can fix my situation. I know this but dammit I don’t want to feel anymore. Surely there’s something out there. Maybe someone has a fast forward button so I can skip ahead a few days.
