Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I worry that I'm always going to trip over when there is change. I'm worried that I'll always end up reduced to self hate and self loathing no matter how well things have been going. I'm worried that SI is never going to leave. 4 weeks without has been so different but it's back with vengeance. I want to self destruct. I want out again. I feel like I will always get to the point where I am really starting to make progress and then things change and I don't cope. I worry that every time someone says your time is up for today it feels like it's literally up and you are left struggling to work out your muddle. I hate that it drives SI out of control and I worry that I'll never get passed these feelings. I worry that my life depends on others. 😢 I am a burden 😭

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I worry that I am unable to see when I am getting treated badly. I blame myself for it because I’m told by others that bpd can’t see its own faults. I’ve always been able to see my own faults.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I feel utterly hopeless.

I get through each day being hyper-vigilant (CPTSD).

As the unpredictable stress of working with violent & aggressive clients constantly triggers my PTSD & stress.

Then I come home to living alone with no social support of my own - after constantly supporting people with high needs.

I have no energy left for anything, including looking after myself (self-care).

I feel worthless & totally unappreciated. It's just not worth the effort, for what end?

My income is so low that it's less than unemployment benefits, & does not pay my living expenses (bills).

I just want to curl up in a ball & cry. Make it all go away...

Unfortunately our society does not value education and disabilty services sufficiently to pay adequate wages.

Other industries are paid OTT ... hmmmm.

Sorry you are suffering form this situation. @Adge

Sorry I am on a theme here.

My worry room post a month ago was serious and heart felt. Some newcomer lady decided to ridicule and reject my openness and sharing of REAL situation that is very SERIOUS and involves incompetence in multiple govt departments. DId a SANE mod stick up for me. nah .. Had to stick up for meself AND was ut down for it but someone who did not know whole situation. How safe do you think I feel?

I feel the necessity of taking the risk to post. I take responsibiliy for that, but that is a far cry from being in a nice safe and cushy forum environment with lots of pillows and stuffed toys. Or whining and carrying on like a pork chop about me not getting my needs met.

I worry that the world will not GROW UP.

Some bitch social worker once said to me that I was pseudo mature.

This is not a safe world and I would prefer people did not pretend it is safer than it is ...

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I feel so pathetic and fake right now, like I've made my whole mental illness up just to get attention and have people feel sorry for me. Maybe if I just snap my fingers I will be back to have I was almost 3 years ago. Although I've always hated the person I am my whole life, I detest this b*&#ch I now am. She's so complaining that she has it bad, when all around there's way worse than her. I'm sure I've just concocted this whole dramatic saga, and it's really not that bad.

Thanks @Former-Member

20 years ago I still would have voted YES .. but since a female teacher groomed my daughter at 17 to leave home with white goods etc during her final year at an elite school ..top 3 in State ... not mentoning any names...NAH ... I like Penny Wong but I voted NO. Said teacher is de facto with my daughter .... hmmmm ... Comes from rich iconic snooty Brighton family. I gotta choose my battles. They will have to face up to the little lies they told themselves to justify how they treated me and my son.

@Sans911

That's awful @Appleblossom, wwhat happened to your 17yo by a person in trust. What do we really know about life and love at 17? It seems the greatest lights have the worst roadblocks. But God k ows your every thought, every fear and every tear. There will be a reckoning, a cleansing of all things into perfection, which is mostly love,

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I worry about the fact that people seem to use the fact that time machines haven't been invented yet as an excuse for mess-ups rather than as a motivator to put more effort into avoiding mess-ups. My brain is so completely fried from oh-so-many "mistakes" made by others over the years. And every single time this happens, I hear a variation on this line: Oh well, we can't undo what's been done, all we can do is move forward from here. I find that line SO dismissive and SO invalidating. My brain is completely fried from a thousand easily-foreseeable "mistakes."

Doesn't anyone ever think; wow, if we mess this up, it is going to cause harm that won't be able to be undone, so let's work extra hard at not messing it up. Why don't people think that way?

Oh well, we can't undo what's been done, all we can do is move forward from here. I hate that line. I hate it so so SO much. That line has caused so much destruction in my life and I am sure, in the lives of others. I hate it. I hate it so so SO much!!!!!
