Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I know you don't want a response @Phoenix_Rising but I wanted to share I have a X too. It's a bit further away from yours but I identify with what you are saying. I don't like seeing it for anyone else but myself but I get it. 💜🤗

I know that you might not want a response @Phoenix_Rising, but I just didn't feel like a 'like' was enough here. I just want you to know that I'm here with you.

hello @Former-Member

Yes I understand where you are coming from. I imagine the majority of us on this side have an x just different experiences.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Phoenix_Rising, never give up, things will improve. Not sure if I'll say the right thing, but will try, just from my own experience - my biggest MI setback lasted a miserable 5yrs - i didn't believe it possible I would get better, or ever again have some of these good days and joyful moments I actually do experience now, or laugh again.. Nobody could get through to me i i certainly didn't have evidence or feel it would improve. Its impossible to see the bigger picture, colours and sunshine lost in the overgrowth of the valley. Somehow i fought to hang in there, ride the pain waves and tripups, learn to be kind to myself, do the therapy and mindfulness and self compassion and act therapy (on and off as best I could). Contracted myself not to act on SI, and i forced myself to work at completing at least one activity a day that needed doing and one activity I like doing (or do after, or use to) - things I could say 'I did that' and like myself, even just for a moment, its an ongoing process, no judgement. You're identity is not just in "x" (whatever that is), you are so much more than events... you are the one who will observe it - stay strong, dont go away on us too, Hugzz 💕

Just thinking - don't have to reply, but nice to know someone else knows, ta

1. 3am wide awake again - not sleeping well. Gut aches last 2days, been withdrawing from friends, not eating properly. Trouble keeping house. All signs of mental decline I need to wat I guess, but -

2. thinking of moving house again, downsize re health, and need to re trouble keeping up with maintainence of this very old cottage and yard. Found something ideal I can afford, and be mortgage free... maybe even grow old in. Did all the online searches and virtual tours etc, got all excited, made apt with the realestate for next tuesday, and the bank for Bridging Loan application.... BUThaving second thoughts - just realised the time pressure (stress) that would be putting on myself to get this house tidy for sale (no support), will go bad... cause another major breakdown & hospital... (so hard to recover from)... Especially with mum's cancer likely to take her this year, losing het (my first family death since losing my youngest), a lot of self doubt (will I cope? or am I procrastinating? sabotaging?), should I pull the pin and just keep putting buckets under the roof leaks and go broke getting tradies and help in? Do I 'be kind to myself' in the 'present moment' and not unsettle still waters? Just Take all the time I need to declutter and not pressure myself? I just dont don't know what to do. Winter is low energy time (SAD). Gonna have to cancel, again, maybe. Was on a high when I got that ball rolling, bit bipolar going on maybe - grandiose, not realistic. People get cranky with me changing my mind. Don't need either... thinking... Wish I was more stable.

3. constant inner voice "everyone hates you" louder than usual lately

4. just found out another friend has 'unsurviveable' melanoma 😞
just venting, don't have to reply. May as well get up and have cuppa - but its so cold out of bed, brrrrrr
