Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Please let this go @Former-Member. I'm not taking sides. If you were in @Former-Member shoes right now your heart would be breaking. I know if she were in your shoes her heart would be breaking. You are both beautiful souls I care deeply about. You are both the good guys, the ones that matter. 💜🤗

😔 @Former-Member. I had a post removed yesterday accidentally by a new moderator. It was a genuine mistake. I'm so sorry it happened after such a heart wrenching post. Please don't let this stop you sharing. You are so dearly valued here and deserve to have support, not just give so generously as you do. I'll always try to be here for you. 💜🤗

Thank you my friend. This is making more sense. Your words heal. I will stay for people like you whom I deeply respect, trust and care for. You should see my face at the moment - bright as a tomatoe 🍅, haha, we have to keep laughing. Sending lots of love to you. Thank goodness for people like you 💕

Thank you @utopia, means a lot. Its an extremely difficult time and your compassion is so invited. But it does not appear to be a safe place to express this grief here with another attacking. That should be moderated @CherryBomb, as this thread is where we are suppose to safely express our worries and leave "without others attacking, criticising or attacking us for our posts here which can cause distress. But that is what is happening to me above. But thank you my friend, you and @Former-Member are very special indeed. 🌹❤

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Ok I have been working with moderator behind the scenes - she has sent you an email. I apologise for the delayed response but we were trying to figure out what happened.

This happened was because it was posted and edited multiple times. The moderator thought the post was getting posted several times, so she rejected it thinking that because there were several posts, they were getting posted. Sometimes, members do post the same post several times, or it is a clich in our system so we do reject posts when it seems like a repeat. But in this case, it seems there were different versions each time,

I'm saddened to see that during this tense time people are feeling not heard, uninvited, and not welcomed. Please remember that this is a welcoming place for all. Sometimes people will post things that might trigger others. It's no one's fault. We have guidelines in place but these account for everyone's triggers. If a post has triggered someone, it's ok for people to voice this and express their concerns. Remember, to not make an issue of the person though.

At the end of the day, we're all here to support each other. There will be times where we get under each other's skin, but let's treat each other with care and compassion.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Thank you for the response @CherryBomb - I just received the email as well. I still don't feel I can express my worries here safely on this thread if it is open to someone being able to attack and criticism for expressing my pain and situation if they misinterpret what I say wrongly and it triggers them. I broke no rules. And when asking that person to stop stop "because it was distressing me" they continued knowing the damage done and was not stopped. That is a clear breach of rules. That is not supportive, caring or safe to me and I feel great distress presently as a result. I was under the impression that I could express my worries here "without judgement and response". But that didn't happen. I will endeavour to continue to offer support and compassion as I have done here in the past and appreciate all those who offered it here to me genuinely. The latter is what it is all about to me. Thank you

Could I ask if the above rules for this thread still apply? As this respect was not shown to me. Not a safe site.

@Former-Member

The reason why I wrote this was so that people could write in here, write their thoughts down, and put them aside.

This doesn't mean that people are not permitted to respond though - it was a suggestion, not a rule. Throughout this thread, people have shared thoughts, views and feelings on each other's experiences.

I'm really sorry that you feel disrespected. Your feelings are important are valid, as is @Former-Member's feelings as being triggered.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@CherryBomb - clearly my feelings are not validated or important. That has been made clear @Former-Member@Former-Member

I will be in contact by phone to head office to verify this.
