Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Hey @Snowie ,

Sounds tough tonight.

I remember when I used to think just like you have posted. Things I 'should' be doing. My psychologist pulled me up on this, and said 'really now? You SHOULD be doing these things?' I was a bit stumped and didn't understand what he was trying to say.

Then I realised that in life, there are lots of things we COULD do, but if we look at it like we SHOULD do things, then we fall far short and end up feeling like a failure.

I'm not sure if this resonates with you. I'm sorry if it is just rambling.

Whatever it is, please know you are not alone,

tyme

Thanks @tyme

I feel asleep but woke up already with a nightmare. I feel a sleepless night is in front of me. I just don't want this life. My brain tricks me into thinking things are ok for a moment and then reality creeps back in. It tears away at my soul, my whole being.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

i have meetings with pops support people tomorrow and already im stressed not of the meeting or who its with. its the fact the person who apparently lives here now thinks she has a right to everything when inreality she doesnt and wants to talk to his supports as well because im having a meeting here. ill be making sure i take the lead and i will probably debrief with the support co-ordinator when i have some rare private time to talk.

so glad that i had the weekend with just me and pop. whole other atmosphere when she isnt here. can feel how narcassict she is but i have no power to kick her out with it not being my house, to many family feuds and pop keeps saying he doesnt want her to move out so its looking more and more likely ill be pushed out of my own home and job here because her vision of entitlements of things she isnt even entitled to considering she dont pay rent or contribute to any expenses at all.

I am losing my doctor. I know it's not the end of the world but when we lose a support who,has helped me so much it just breaks away at my soul. How will I find another one like her.

How can things turn so quickly. My mind and thoughts are destroying me.
