Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Hello morning anxiety. I see you have returned today. I did not miss you while you were gone. It's been a blast hanging out with you in bed this morning, but feel free to keep having a lie-in while I get up and go about my day. You can see yourself out.

My Referral (from Colonoscopy) to a Public Hospital – Is to the Cancer Centre.

I just received the Appointment letter from the Hospital.

My Mum made disparaging (minimising) comments to me about the Referral, not knowing what it was for (or where to).

How would Mum or anyone like it if it was for them (not me) - & suddenly found out that it was an Appointment with a Cancer Clinic?

Quite a Shock.

Not Happy Jan....

Adge

I think I'm losing it. I can't think straight or complete basic activities. Physically I feel weak and mentally confused. I don't know how to help myself. I feel so alone. Fighting the urge to SH with every fibre of my being. Not good.

I don't know what it is. Maybe it's in my imagination or just that I am noticing things more but I feel like there is a much higher collective anxiety in my world.

I have reached an age now where I am supposed to be an adult for a while now and I am staring at a void and wondering if I will ever get anywhere. It is very frustrating and creates a constant stress on me for the past 2 months.

It is hard to hear everyone else going through stress and worry because I just want to see people laugh and enjoy life but it is so hard when that seems far from my personal experience also.

Just something on my mind, sigh.

I must say I'm getting pretty jack of this whole life thing. I mean, it's far from all bad, but there's nothing that makes me want to keep going day to day other than not wanting to let everyone down. Everyone that loves me and has kept me alive.

I survive for them but live for nothing.

I'm safe. Very safe. Just also very unhappy.

Hi @StuF ,

I know this thread says no responses, but I just to let you know I am sitting with you. I've been in that space before so I'm sending hugs 💛
