Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I shouldnt have done it. I wish i was stronger. I wish what others saw in me I saw in myself, but the is impossible since it does not exist. The blame is on me.

Please no replies.

I don't know why my posts disappear while I'm writing, so again, let's try this using a word processor.

I read some articles on the Internet tonight which highlighted to me how badly the system is against people with disabilities. I feel like giving up. I want to lock myself away. I don't want to be part of this horrible society. I'm still trying to find a good therapist because all of them so far, have all been about having a wonderful life with no problems. None of them respected that reality doesn't work so well outside the red tape of paperwork. Trauma, abuse and suffering are shoved under the rug because apparently I can somehow, magically think myself into a happier life situation. I'm sure I've got a lot of good things my way and there's a few good folks who are in the medical profession helping me. And I've got other good support workers. But the traumatic stuff that can't be fixed, well it's tossed aside because it's easier to pretend that abuse doesn't exist than it is to reverse the damage caused by it. The NDIS is refusing to help me with extra support needs, and I have to jump through loops to get what any so-called average, non-disabled person can just access tomorrow. I am so very offended at the way the Australian Government has treated my case right from birth. I was given a life and then dumped with no assistance to actually live my life. And I didn't get much support from family abuse. Now I'm away from it, but the damage is done. My support workers have to tolerate shit on a regular basis to help me, knowing that the NDIS and the rich politicians don't care. I can hardly sleep every night. These forums, my support workers, and my current GP are my only hope of some semblance of sanity. Now that I realise that the NDIS is going to dump me into the gutter, I'll just keep coming back to the SANE website every single day religiously. I've got hundreds of books to read. I can stay locked up at home. I just can't access the community in a proper manner, I can't ask my support workers to help me with holidays. I can't ask them to take me to far-away places as an escape for the day, I have to have limited access to a life outside of my home environment because people like me don't deserve a "normal" life. People like me deserve to live in the gutter. To be grateful that I can breathe fresh air while I rot away in "prison" at home. I feel like a criminal under house arrest. I'm being punished for having a disability, for being born early. For having mental health issues. I am an unwanted, burdensome "thing" to society. Even the hospital system doesn't want me. I don't want to let the few lovable people in my life down either who want me, but I don't want myself either. I'm telling my GP this today, and anyone else who asks me. I don't want myself anymore. The NDIS has sent me the message that I'm a subhuman. Thanks. This is ok, I guess.

Am safe!

―underf emotions tonight. The unknowns are freaking me out.
What am I meant to do?
I hope this week ends well for me
I hope my life doesn't become a bad dream
A nightmare which I can't wake from
Why does this have to be me?
Why?
Just why?
