Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

It has been a difficult week and I've been feeling very stressed. I have also realised that I'm having a complete mental breakdown, which has been happening for some time. I have made a decision about a friendship and I'm starting to feel better about that. And I have just had a phone appointment with my therapist.

Hi @Adge

Really! It really is not just about you, Adge.

Those are the same messages as the ones that I receive from my doctor, counsellor, dentist, etc ................

They haven't picked you out for some special or particular treatment with respect to appointments. They provide everyone with the same types of information, in whatever ways are available.

Neither can they spend the time required, to go back through their appointment records, to see who has or hasn't attended at their previous appointments.

It is not personal. They have to ensure that their business runs with the best information to everyone concerned, including and especially clients.

What you might consider to your advantage is the fact that all appointments are confirmed, and, if there were any reason that you need to be informed of a change, say, due to illness, they have the means to contact you ahead of time.

Hope this helps to give another perspective on the appointments situation

Best Wishes

@HenryX

I Beg Your Pardon @HenryX This Thread is "No Response".

I Am Very Well Aware of Everything That you said.

I feel very Patronised.

You do not wish me to express myself on the Only Platform that I Have Available to me (Forum) - Apart from my Journal Book (Which no one reads).

As I am not Verbose - I find other people's Words express well what I need heard.

Plus They are Given Attention & Credit.

The Offspring's Songs Express it Well -

"All I Want" (is Respect).....

"Amazed" (I am totally Amazed when I am Given Respect)

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Why do I bother. I get no thanks for the things I have done. I just get told I am lazy and making things worse for myself. I might as well just disappear and make life easier for others.

What is the point of helping if it just gets thrown back in to my face. Just a simple I hear you, thank you, and I am here for you would be enough, but nothing. I am not worth it.

I've just had an emergency After Hours Electrician here tonight.

They charged $300 for being here 15 minutes.

The House Alarm must have a Fault (Electrician did not fix it).

The Siren came on, & would not stop - For over 1 hour, as soon as I reached home.

Ear Splitting & mind numbing.

I could not hear the person at the end of the phone line - When I called out.

Exhausted.
