Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Call Centre (6.00am till 8.00pm) Contract Job -

I worked 4.00am & 5.00am Starts (every morning) as Gardener on a Golf Course, for almost 7 years.

Cannot do those hours anymore - Body won't take it, cannot sleep adequately.

I would be so fatigued that early in the morning, & late evening - Would not feel (or seem) functional at all.

Need to give myself more time – To come out of Overwhelm find centredness).

So was not able to respond (to phone them back), this afternoon.

Public Holiday on Monday (7th).

Will have to decide & let them know on Tuesday.

I remind myself that things will be ok but its gettint harder to do. Being told by specialist that i should give up my work, my hobbies and basically just do nothing with my life is one of the harder ones. When i asked if itll get better she said well no not really. How could one thing that i loved so much change things. Im feeling very lost and unsure now.

Worried that I might be getting sick again. Going to get referred to a residential mental health place if I can ever manage to speak to my case manager

Small things are leading to big emotions. I fear my boat is about to capsize. I hate myself and my life

I am struggling a lot since lockdown. I don't mind having to stay at home and only go out for essentials but I cannot cope without seeing my psych and pdoc in person. It is just all too hard. How can I tell them about my thoughts over the phone, how can I tell them what has been happening. I don't like this one bit. There are only so many prn I can take in one day.

This is just a rant so please don't respond anywhere in the forum.

I am so tired. So tired and so done trying to please people, live up to their expectations and help them. Why do I even let that affect me? Why do I worry about if people care? They don't give a fig about my feelings and emotions. They don't care about trampling all over me as long as their needs are met. So I should walk away, shouldn't I?

Leave them to their own devices. Let them shite in their own nests and be in their pits of despair and darkness. Who cared about me when I was in the darkest of places, struggling to feed myself? Nobody helped me but myself. I know I sound angry, mean, ungrateful. Whatever anyone wants to call me. But there are time I push my own needs aside when others ask for my help. There are so many things I haven't attended too because I have run out of time and energy giving to others. I am so angry, sad, hurt, dissapointed. Living is so complicated,

Stressing out/ Overwhelmed - Over Youth Outreach Job Interview (tomorrow morning).

I'm not adequately prepared.

Feeling Overwhelmed in general (not just over Interview) - has stopped me in my tracks, prevented me from preparing more thoroughly (further).

I feel out of my League.

As most people (candidates) being Interviewed, may have specific Youth Work Qualifications (A Degree, for instance).

I don't.

I have many years experience working with young people with Disabilities - yet not in Outreach, with Street Kids in the middle of the night.

It's Night Shifts - I did not even realise that, as they never mentioned that.

Until someone brought that to my attention.

I've got Brain Freeze - as someone on Forums calls it.

Cannot even prepare anymore....

My Covid (Astra-Zenica) Vaccination was Cancelled today – Just one day before I was Booked/ Scheduled to get it.

It had taken several months to get to that, to get it booked (organised).

The Medical Centre’s reason (given) was simply that the Government has suddenly changed the regulations – Astra-Zenica was the Only Vaccine that I was allowed, since I’m over 50 y.o.

Now they tell me that Only people over 60 y.o are allowed that Astra-Zenica Vaccine.

My Medical Centre only does Astra-Zenica Vaccination - No others.

So I got cancelled, & am left with nothing.

When most people at my MH Social Lunch function have already had their Covid Vaccination – months ago, they told me.

I have not been on the forums that often for some time due to circumstances escalating from more than one direction. On the occasions that I try to respond to those who have written. I flounder, take far too long and often have unauthenticated tickets . I cannot even remember if this is correct wording

thankfully I met @HenryX who explained the reasoning behind the tickets.

Tonight I signed on in time looking forward to the online chat as found it by accident.

I have not been able to log in.

I am missing out on the chat now.

I am starting to feel not only not listened to in real life but also a missing link from somewhere unknown.

An unauthenticated ticket..............................

Help please

ps had to edit ..............of course...........
