Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I am trying, I mean really trying, but this illness is so debilitating and has such power over my thoughts. Loneliness is killing me and I can't see my life ever having any meaning or purpose.

One of my fears is that someone close to me will end up like me. This is no way to live. I feel i need to protect everyone from the real me whoever that might be.

I cant stop thinking, stop worrying. Over thinking and now the dreaded panic attacks. I drive myself crazy sometimes

Breathe dont worry, step back, self care, proceed calmly and look after you, make choices that you are happy with and choices that you are at ease with, breathe, take risks that are thought out and measured calmly, always remember you have the right to say yes and no,sometimes stay in your comfort zone, but do not be afraid to venture outside your comfort zone but only a little at a time as as much as your happy to ,and remeber you can always go back to your comfort zone if need be,relax, breathe, youve got this, just believe in yourself and youll be just fine trust your intuition, your instincts never lie

A hard night to first light now. Beautiful sky out a sliding window. Brain overwired, thought to thought in super-quick succession all night long, contradicting myself in my own voice, fast fragments of thinking, from many directions, out of agreement. Breathe, relax, over and over all night long, though it's only taking a small edge off like when you take a paracetamol for a severe headache.

Not just words from here and now, from decades ago, yesterday, phrases, sentences, anxiously examining them, random memories almost as fast as the rapid, desperate me-voices trying to find a better way of thinking, feeling, a way out of this mental disorder and distress. Feel your feet, feel your body, breathe, relax. Even the healing mantras are part of the mixed up head.

Sleep will come before too long, I hope. Have taken a prn. Not looking for reasons for this rise of distress in me, too many possibilities, or combination of factors. This is just how I am this night. How I am is a lifelong lesson in acceptance.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I kind of went in to shock, at so many phone call messages (& scheduled interviews), starting Wednesday (2 days ago) - Which lead to several Double Bookings, which I then had to try to sort out (change).

Then again, even during Yoga Class this morning.

Then received message from Contracting Agency for Call-Centre Job, this afternoon (6.00am Starts till 8.00pm Finishes) – Wanting me to phone them back.

So that I can commence 5 week’s intensive training, Immediately….

Went into total Overwhelm...

I’m Frozen, I cannot respond – Or if/ when I do respond (call them back), I may not make a Good Choice.

Often I Just accept what’s in front of me, then deal with the Consequences - When not a Good Option.

I don’t know if I can cope with call-centre (6am to 8pm) work or not.

I don’t really if it’s good for me – Or if I want it or not.

The paperwork & Statutory Declarations (yesterday) was horrendous – Not sure how easy to pull out (once started).

They did not give me a Copy of any of the Paperwork or Stat Dec – So there is nothing for me to read back over, to help me to decide.
