Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Hi @Bunniekins, I'm sorry to hear of the anxiety you're experiencing at the moment- it sounds really intense. If what you're experiencing starts to feel too distressing or overwhelming, I really want to encourage you to to reach out for extra support offline to somewhere like Lifeline (13 11 14). Take good care of yourself this evening 💚

I received a phone message (on Mobile) from NDIS.

This message said (was) that there is an Outcome/ Result for my NDIS Application – My Application to Access NDIS has been Assessed, with a Outcome (Yes/ No)

I was not told this Outcome/ the Result of my NDIS Application.

I phoned the NDIS back.

I was told that there is a Result for my NDIS Application – Yet they did not know what that Outcome/ Result was.

My phone call was not returned.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Confused myself between two experienced but new-to-the-company people at work today. I thought I'd figured out which was which and that one person's name was a nickname, but nope it's actually the other guy's first name. It doesn't help that they come in to the office on different days so I never see them together.

So I said the wrong person's name when talking over the phone to my boss about some work that they'd done. And I dunno if one of the two people overheard me. I'm not worried about what they overheard, but it'll just be weird to explain my confusion to my boss (if I have to mention the work to him again and then start using the correct name... but I might not have to mention it because it's not being managed by him) and maybe the wrongly identified person (if he brings it up).

I'm fairly sure that I said the guy's name who was in the office today, but talking about the work of the guy who wasn't in the office. Maybe that's better than the alternate scenario, because (a) the wrongly identified person might not have heard his name because that's only one word, whereas it would be more obvious to know if I was talking about his work, and (b) at least then I know which person I mean even if I don't know his name.
