Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

@WIP those sound like some intense feelings to be sitting with, I'm sorry you're going through this.

Some things I might say (to a friend, to you) are that new experiences can happen, things can change, we can meet new people- feeling hopeless now doesn't mean we'll always feel that way.

I'll send you an email to check in as I'm concerned about how you're doing. Take care, ok? 💞

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Today has been a confronting day. Too many things to go into detail but it puts a lot of questions into my head.

Why do I put myself through all of this?

I just want to give up, I want to stop the pain, the mental anguish.

What is the point anymore.

Thanks v much @Former-Member

I'm really wanting things to change. Just a couple of things initially, that will roll into many more. I know, when I get a break, I'll be more positive and hope will come naturally.

For many months now, I've just had hit after hit, that has now resulted in no hope ☹️
Just that kickstart of something positive will change my thinking & behaviour, I know it!!

just here to let out some thoughts/worries had my phone appointment today with counseller we talked about alot this phone call of course I wont mention the details but she has been helpfull so far ,easy to talk to Expectations can be hard to work out wether thats your own expectaions or others as well as trying to meet either your own expectations or others its hard to know what to do when you want or need something so much but you dont allow yourself to have it or outright deny your needs to the point of then demanding your needs to be met fast or that you expect yourself to just always meet your own needs not leaving enough room to let others help when needed maybe your used to things being one sided or taking on responsibility to the point of you cant or wont allow yourself to lesson responsibilities or maybe you naturally have an avoident type personality, you expect so much of yourself for self and others that you dont measure up to yours and others expectations aka not good enough, adequite enough ect ,at the momment you have time and space to think and breathe about the worries, you feel you lack confidence to have your needs met or the nagging feeling that you or your needs dont matter,so self critical yet if others need you you expect to fill there every need even needs that havent asked of you yet,so much to sit and think about all the while wondering how much of what you are thinking is true or real or just your mind being dramatic, why the constant need for validation, why the need to be kind to others yet unkind to self although more recently kindness to others has been wavering too, youd love to fix your mess as well as others messy emotions ,your not always right, you cant always be in control, you think alot but listening doesnt come easy

Omfg I can't figure out how to open the gate at someone's house /business and have tried phoning but they didn't answer. So I can't get to the doorbell. And there's someone in a car who has been sitting here this whole time.

Update: The owner came about 6 minutes late, and apologised for being next door. So even if I had got in, it would've been even worse cause he still wouldn't have been there and I'd have been in his yard. So just as well I didn't keep trying to get in.

I hate social anxiety sometimes.

The days continue to be hard. The days continue to be tiring.

I am tired of trying. I am tired of being tired.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

My GP Dr spent nearly all (most) of my Appointment time today - Telling me about his own Physical pain, losing 1 day's work income (due to pain & lack of sleep).

Also telling me the graphic details of two Suicides in his family (overseas).

No that has never happened in any Dr's GP appointment before - So it came as a Shock, & was overwhelming to listen to (hear).

Then we did not have time left for my presenting issues....

This world is not for those with a loving soul, a giving heart you get destroyed. Needless to say that today's therapy session didn't end well in the slightest. It's hardest right before the light........
