Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I'm a burden and I annoy everyone, and I'm worthless, annoying and everything else bad (no one has to reply like the thread says but its true)

Feeling let down and tired. Constant battle for support and any sort of help and then it gets cancelled anyway (ten minutes before long awaited for appt today). no support available for a month. Was told at the last support appointment (that is also no longer available due to covid changes now) that if i can ask for help and attend appointments on time i dont really need that much help. 'really' ill people cant manage to function. I must be fine then i guess. I am just so close to giving up, there's no point in asking for help.

Hey @Millieme

I'm sorry to hear about your experiences today. It would be especially frustrating to be told you must not need that much support - which I can imagine might feel like its undermining your actual experiences, and the effort you're putting in. I hope the words of that individual don't discourage you from continuing to get support, because everyone derserves help, no matter their circumstances.

monthly support (or less) isnt going to help anything long term. There's no where else to reach out to. Stp gap measures like lifeline, just to survive when theres nothing to help long term and no way to change stressors/situations that are happening or about to happen. i have noone.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Things just suck for me lately, trying my best to be positive and strong and fight so to speak, and just not let things get the better of me but it's so hard. Seems like one thing after another, a repetitive cycle for me. I'm trying to look at the positives.

I just feel so worthless and every other bad word as I mentioned in my above comment. I'm safe and will try to reach out to helplines if I feel the need to although I'm told to go away most of the time on webchats

Hope you're both ok @Millieme @Former-Member although I know this post says no replies but I've seen people reply

@Millieme I hear you on feeling like you have so few options, that's hard. Not sure if you have already, but you could always give the SANE Helpline (1800 187 263) a call, they're pretty good at supporting folk to find what services might be available to them, and brainstorm about what kind of support might work for you. Hope you're able to find what you're looking for.

I wish my brain would be quiet and stop over thinking literally everything.

I am feeling major overwhelm from work and life in general. Work is too busy and high pressure. I work 4 days a week but seems like the workload is full time. I'm lucky to have a job at this time, so not ungrateful. Just really stressed. I took a mental health day today. Trying to get in to get telehealth with my gp. Anyway take care all.
