Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I am safe but just needed to get this out...warning may be triggering to some.

It’s the middle of the night

And I can’t seem to sleep
Thoughts running through my head
I can’t hear a sound not even a peep.
My heart is pounding in my chest,
I find it hard to take even a breath,
My body is frozen it feels heavy,
And all I wish for is a peaceful death.
The urge runs strong inside my veins,
It screams at me to stop the pain,
To let it all go to make it better,
Why can’t I just be sane
Flashbacks flood the mind
Like flashes of light
They come so quickly so strong
They burn so bright.
The memory feels so real
It curses through your being
It makes you hurt and scared
All you feel like doing is fleeing.
I can’t take this much longer
It’s drowning me inside
I just want it all to end
I just want to run away and hide.
Every night is the same
I’m afraid to close my eyes
Cause of what I might see
Cause of what lies inside
Why won’t it let me be

Fking great. One post, and I have someone's suicide on my hands. Brilliant job Sans. You really messed with the wrong person didn't you. Sometimes, in this space just better to say nothing at all.

I don't know what to do @Jynx to be honest. I realise my interaction has possibly come on the back of other one within the forums. I've gone to take a look. I just don't like feeling like I potentially tipped someone over the edge. It's now triggered my own SI and SH buttons. I'm trying to use the support here when everything in my head screams that I should punish myself for pushing someone to the edge. I know I'm not responsible for others actions, but shite when it comes to someone saying suicide, that's a whole different thing that I can't help feeling partially responsible for.

I am feeling good. I dont want to visit my pdoc anymore or have my mental health nurse .... but what if I spiral out of control again ....I will keep going with the meds so why do I have to do this whole medical thing for the rest of my life! I am so sick of it and want to be my old pea self before the mi before I went mad.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

When I said goodbye last night is was not meant to be goodnight is was goodbye. I had done something foolish, but unfortunately I was found and taken care of so I am here for another day. I can't take this hurt anymore, I can't stand having no control over my life. So here I am an empty shell seeing nothing feeling nothing.

PLEASE DONT MENTION THIS ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE FOURMS

Hi there @Former-Member,

Just wanted to pop my head in the thread, was feeling a bit concerned after reading your last post. It can be really hard havings feelings around the urge to SH and tough to manage, just wanting you to know that you’re not alone. Would you be open to contacting SCBS or Lifeline for a chat if things are becoming very intense or you'd like to speak to someone? It’s important that you are able to stay safe, and if you need immediate help please do call 000.

Warmest wishes and regards,

Otter
