Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

If I hear "aren't you over that yet" one god dam more time, I swear to Christ. I would like to see how you cope living with 25+ years of abuse. The bruises are gone but the terror is not, the mental anguish is not. The fear that you may never be whole and happy is real for me everyday. How would you like to never feel good enough, never feel worthy of love and never feel excepted by our family because you have MH issues. Please just leave me alone

When the suns rises as it surely will, I will pay dearly for my moment of weakness

I am not sure if this is where I should post this, but it has been consuming me all day am maybe if I put it out here I can ease it a little.

Last night the only childhood memories that I held near and dear, which meant I mattered to someone, that a least one person had loved me was ripped away. I was having a nightmare when it was interrupted by a "film" and when that finished the nightmare started back up again from where it left off. Needless to say I have spent the day wondering if it was real, could that person have really been apart of my abusive childhood, and why am I seeing it now? My ray of sunshine in a very bleak world has been snuffed out.

I have been trying hard to find a reason to be here, I have worked hard on trying to be positive and connecting to parts of my childhood that meant the most to me in an attempt to help inner child heal. Well that is gone there isn't any good there anymore, my hero, my knight in shinning armour, my gentle giant is a myth. I never mattered to anyone and still don't feel I matter now. I just want to give up now, there is no point to this anymore.

I'm tired and unmotivated. I feel the pull of hopelessness and depression stronger the longer this isolation stuff goes on. I wish I had the same faith in myself to overcome it that my Drs do.

The memories, guilt and regrets have taken over. I miss my loved one so much, she was also my best friend. The days before plagues me when i couldnt revive her, manage someone elses distress while waiting for help. The last christmas i ever had with her and i was so selfish and had horses to do on the same day when i shouldve been with her and family and being in those last photos as much as i hate pictures.
If only id known that was the last event with her.

The uncertainty (total unknown) of whether there will be any work shifts (client services) for me – when I return to work on Monday next week, is doing my head in.

I did ask, yet my manager declined to say (at all).

I’ve been checking all the Yoga Centres, to see if any classes are now (Re) available.

They’re all still closed, which is depressing.

I will be in "Work Mode" next week, even if there are stil no work shifts available (no work).

Despair (maybe emotional flashbacks) & Stress Mode - are making it very difficult to get any productive (or meaningful) use out of my remaining day off.

It’s too late (now) to go to the Bahamas, or Mars – a fanciful Sane Forum discussion (possibility) we had a few days ago.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I have a had a good, dare I even say great day but I knew this would come with the setting of the sun. I have dis associated a couple of times today but my ex was on hand to make sure I caused no further harm to myself. Unfortunately this part of me seems hell bent on doing just that. At my limits with my medication, MH team are happy for me to ride this out like

all the other times but this is different I have never actively sort to harm myself. I am probably watched more closely here than I would be at hospital so I know I am safe but it is scaring the f*** out of me. When you hate yourself so much, when you believe you are so bad, rotten to the core I guess there is not point, there can be no happiness.

Please don't mention this anywhere on the forum.
