Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

woke covered in my own vomit, don’t remember drinking last which is normally the reason I am sick during the night. Being forced back to work, treatment not going well, return to work coordinator sending my doctor emails telling him want SHE wants put on my workcover cert, being pushed to interact with clients and just deal with. Well I didn’t deal with yesterday, got “stuck” in my car in the car park for an hour and half. Frozen, I am looking at the green space in front of my car and see it all but it was overlaid with the event that triggered my PTSD COULDNT BREATHE. Every time I tried to get out of my car I just couldn’t get the door open, I could escape. The five minute drive home took an hour.

If if I don’t go today I a, worried I will lose my job. The fear and anxiety has already peaked at a new high this morning. The self-hatred rhetoric is strong, constantly telling me how pathetically useless I am I should just be able to deal with this it’s part of the job

Totally stunned - feeling very distressed.

I just received a message from Work Manager – asking me to come in for an Annual Performance Review.

Whilst there are not work shifts available - & I’m on Annual Leave for another 1 & ½ weeks.

Obviously I can only return to work, if (& when) they have work shifts available – when they Ressume services.

I am totally stumped, flabbergasted & floored by this request – incredulous.

I cannot even think of a reply – nothing like this should be requested whilst someone is on long-term leave (5 weeks).

My younger sister is in my heart so much. Tears now. It is breaking my heart to know what she is growing through.

Other people in my life may think I am fine. But I am not. I know I keep mentioning my dear sister. But it is hurting me so very much. The thought of her hurting in any way just feels like a stabbing pain in me

I just want to scream, I can't express what I am feeling without it being wrong, I can't help because it's wrong. I can't do anything right!!!!!!

Hi everyone.

Repeated constant triggers & knock-backs have been too much, in the past week.

Pressure & rude comments, in person by someone I had confidence in (2 days of distress).

Then reactions to work contact (demand), whilst on Annual Leave - more than 3 days attempting to ground.

Practicing constant distress tolerance for almost 6 days straight (so far).

Fighting to get my sense of self (& composure) back – does not seem to be On Leave (Holidays).

Feels like the wars…

When knocked down, you get walked over (again & again).

Just had another knock-down this morning - total invalidation.

Confusion in her eyes that says it all.
She's lost control.
And she's clinging to the nearest passer by,
She's lost control.
And she gave away the secrets of her past,
And said I've lost control again,
And a voice that told her when and where to act,
She said I've lost control again.
And she turned around and took me by the hand and said,
I've lost control again.
And how I'll never know just why or understand,
She said I've lost control again.
And she screamed out kicking on her side and said,
I've lost control again.
And seized up on the floor, I thought she'd die.
She said I've lost control.
She's lost control again.
She's lost control.
She's lost control again.
She's lost control.
Well I had to 'phone her friend to state my case,
And say she's lost control again.
And she showed up all the errors and mistakes,
And said I've lost control again.
But she expressed herself in many different ways,
Until she lost control again.
And walked upon the edge of no escape,
And laughed I've lost control.
She's lost control again.
She's lost control.
She's lost control again.
She's lost control. Joy Division

Well that psych appointment was a disaster. Kept cutting in and out on tele health.

I told her about my sh and si and she just brusehed them aside.

Why should I care when she doesn't.

I am done with this shit, I am suffocating, I am over it, I am going.
