Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I know I'm a loaded g*n right now but please don't worry @Faith-and-Hope. I just had family dinner with S3 and S4. It was so messy and all the lines in all parts of my life are blurred and I'm really not dealing with so much instability. I had a call from my new phams worker today but I got scared to meet her. I am scared she'll judge me. We didn't connect much on the phone.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Have dragged my kids up to the park today .... beautiful sunshine and 14deg at the moment ....

Two cats have made their way inside the cafe and nobody chases them out .... the kids are chasing them outside so they have found a sanctuary here ....

There's still snow on the mountain tops in the distance, but maybe not after today .... more snow expected on the weekend tho.

We are headed off to another country town where there are .... wait for it .... Roman ruins of a hot-springs spa .... nothing as impressive as the ones we found in the UK tho .... but there has been use of these hot springs for 4000 years ... they were mentioned historically by Aristotle.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Just breathe through it @Former-Member .... a lot of things gradually fall into place of their own accord if we just hold on through them ....

Park up whatever you can't cope with in the moment, like, "I'll consider that again later" or whatever version of that you come up with for yourself, and often by the time you get back to whatever that was, things are on a different page, or something has shifted and it all makes better sense, or for some reason is more manageable ....

Good that you're venting .... it's healthy ....

Great that you're feeling even a little bit better ....

Breathe .... grow patience gently .....

I know your spidy senses want instant connection .... mine do too .... but that doesn't mean you won't connect with your Phams worker .... patience m'dear ....

And breathe .....

💜🤗

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I miss me @Faith-and-Hope. The person who lived life the best she could even though she was dysfunctional but didn't know it. She was loyal and trustworthy and found life in the small things. She overanalysed but it didn't control her. Now she's totally untrustworthy in the eyes of mental health clinicians and has black marks against her name. She fears everything and can't stop analysing every single thought causing her to be paralysed. She sleeps with a mortar and pestle under her bed where she crushes and dreams of taking it so she an switch off her life for either a while or permanently. She doesn't know what life is anymore just to fear everything. There isn't anything to look forward to just things to try and hold on through. She doesn't love or receive love anymore she runs away from it all. She is lame and weak and gutless.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

She is in a cocoon at the moment @Former-Member .... one that she will emerge from in time when all these feelings of being lost and out-of-body-and-mind have slowly resolved and displaced .... when she has frown new strength and sense of person, place, purpose .... when her new wings have grown .....

This is a place to recover, to vent, to feel lost for a while as everything unpacks and washes through .... and to slowly, slowly, piece the puzzle back together .....

It will happen @Former-Member .... it is happening, even though you can't see it yet .... and the mortr n pestl will retire themselves eventually ....

Just kee walking with us .... holding you in the light, forever and always .....

You have purpose here .... and you will recover and find it .... then you will teach others and show them the way ....

Patience .... courage .... perseverance .....

Walking with you ..... ❤️💕

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Carrying you with me @Former-Member .... the sadness will pass ....

Seek distraction .... create order in something around you .... put some flowers or leaves in a vase or glass for the Teej who will be ... prepare for her ....

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Former-Member. You don't walk this alone. I'm here. As is @Faith-and-Hope & others.
How do you get rid of pent up energy?
Me - I crank up the music & I dance like an idiot. I really let loose.
ACDC - The Angels - that sort of music. Angry fast music.
Sometimes it's just impossible to sit when I get too wound up. Like when I had that big anxiety attack. I had to stomp around the house. Then I went and put my face in my pilliw and screamed blue murder. J kept screaming til I was exhausted.
Is that something you can do?
Find some ounk music and scream along.
Stomp, swear, yell, dance, spin. Release your energy and anger.
It will pass.
