Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

@Appleblossom .... ❤️💕💐🌷❣

My grandmother was full of drama with her own mi issues, and it made my mum more resilient, compassionate, steady, giving, peace-making, and many other good things ....

While "checking out" might seem like a solution in a wonky moment, the reality would be utterly devastating and on-going for your son and anyone and everyone associated with you .... "tidying up" doesn't do it @Appleblossom ..... you would just be passing on the pain to him, and I know that is something you would never want to do ....

Your place is here ..... have to work out more pain-management somehow ....

Love n love n hugs n hugs .....

❤️💕

Thinking of you @Appleblossom - embracing you in my heart. Those down times - every moment feels like a hundred years and in this distress and in that struggle we can grow weary, weary of life; we cannot see the bigger picture but there is one. And it is all worth the fight. And there will be better times ahead for you and me. Trust me.

Hang in there as you have more purpose than you realise. You have made a huge impact on people's lives here and we need you. Your son will always need you. I, we, are here for you. You are not alone. Sending much love always xx

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I am f***ing everything up. I am out of control everyday. I don't know what I need or what I want. I don't want sympathy or empathy. Right now I don't deserve any of that but don't want it either. I can't pull myself out of this hole. I'm taking everyone down with me. I don't want my son to come back from overseas because he is happy there and I can't bring him down. I don't know how to give on this site anymore, I feel like I'm missing the mark with everything. I want to shut off the world so much again. I am constantly letting everyone and myself down. I am seriously messing things up at home and everything is falling apart so quick now. I don't know what I even want by disclosing this. I am angry and hurt and so very confused and messy. I don't need responses just someone to put me down and out of my head and my misery.

It will pass @Former-Member ..... breathe .....

This is all part of the path, and you just have to keep walking. It's obviously a really sucky day but you know this is a hard stretch while your team is getting back together, and the time of year that it is .... this is the crash you tend to have after a major date / event .... and as @Former-Member said, distract yourself and move away from these feelings ....

Can you get your butt out of the house for a walk ? Take pup with you and throw tennis balls for him till your arm is ready to fall off ? Gotta burn that adrenaline that is popping inside you at the moment ....

Not taking us down @Former-Member .... walking with you no matter what state you're in .... and you do deserve friendship .... send teen-Teej to her room and have a grown-up coffee in the sun somewhere cool .... half-shade maybe .... getting outside makes a difference .... out of the four walls .....

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

It's ok @Faith-and-Hope. This is the place I can vent when I don't need attention but to scream. I went for a walk with pup and s2g. I am struggling to make sense of my world and to move on again. Every time I have a plan something interrupts it and I suck at letting those big moments pass. I do feel a bit better for going for a walk but it confused me too.
