Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@outlander it happened over four years.
I used to dance and do yoga. I remember even balling my eyes out to his mum telling her I can't do this anymore they all told me to wait around and see if he changes when my daughter had arrived everytime I wanted to leave I couldn't because he came back and any time I wanted to with my daughter I couldn't then either because of the circumstances I rang lifeline while I was with him police were always called my parents were called when police came earlier i turned them away because I didn't want to get him in trouble and I felt like it was all my fault when my daughter arrived abou three days later I was told my daughter wasn't allowed to see my mother I felt like my daughter was a trophy to all then over there I remember seeing a photo I didn't like seeing with him and his brother drunk off their face will my little girl hanging like a rag doll in their arms I felt like I never could say anything and if I did I was quickly shut down

Hey @Former-Member,

Thanks for your courage in sharing your story. I understand that you are unsure if you want responses to these posts, as you're unsure if responses will make you feel worse. At the same time, I can see that you are tagging people, which makes me wonder if maybe some support would be helpful? If you do decide that you want support and responses, I recommned following @outlander 's advice and starting a new thread, as the worry room is typically a place where people post things without getting replies.

Best,

Chamomile.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I got sunburnt today, walking miles to catch trains with clients - after having my Wisdom tooth extracted (Dentist) yesterday. Still in pain.

Got heat stressed 40C.

My client pretended to have a seizure - acting out the symptoms to get attention.

He is known to do that (pretend medical illness) apparently.

Yet my managers assumed it was a real seizure - which created major stress, especially for me.

Until we were told 2 hours later, that it had all been a false alarm -with me left to care & manage 5 people (on my own), instead of the one (that it's supposed to be).

A hell of a day.

Still cannot chew yet, too painful.

Then work didn't pay me for 3 hours public holiday mon March 5th - I'm only earning $450 per week.

So I can't do without that money.

Extortionists, they've shorted people's pay by 5 or 6 hours so many times.

I do not want to do this anymore. I have had enough of this tormented hell.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

this is addressed to another planet because I have had enough of this one...

what if we could live in a world where we choose our family....

we choose our friends....

we choose our pets...

I would like to choose a mother who does not criticise me....a sister who also does not criticise me..lecture me...always want to control me...change me ...both want to change me to be like them...

why can't they accept that I am me....I accept them for who they are....

I accept that I might be too inquisitive for some people.....I might be far too deep for most people...I might be sensitive...

my anxiety levels are so high of late....why would they not be? ...I am human with feelings....I am not a robot...

I stayed home today to try to relax for hospital admission tomorrow.. I rang mum explaining that will call in and see her on way to hospital tomorrow...treading on eggshells as usual I tried to think about topics of conversation that relate to her world now that she lives in the nursing home....she has changed rooms...lovely that you have a view...defensive re others are wondering why she has changed rooms...you have your friend in the next room...lovely...oh it doesn't matter and on and on and on..

sister not talking to me still rang husband's phone thinking that I had operation today...admitted yesterday...so not ringing to wish me well before operation...

conversation about mum...mentioned she sounded a little defensive...well I got the condescending lecture about sounding critical....on and on and on she went...I moved the phone away from my ear at one stage....I had just told her before that I was staying home today to relax in preparation for surgery...

so I told her what I thought...I lost it...I said that it didnt matter what I said or did it was never good enough...I was over her controlling...what exactly should I do not visit mum or ring her for fear of sounding critical...mother was like this with me since moving in with sister years ago...sister's choice...clearly money helped her...

so then sent text message saying that I was over her tearing shreds off of me when I was unwell...she knows when to push...

needless to say have had to take more medication...and am so wound up...cannot relax..I feel like screaming...

husband heard it all and could not believe that she would do that to me now ahead of what I will be going through...

so what if I could choose a different sister and mother...

then if that was the case...I would be the world's biggest b...h....I would still not be good enough..
