Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

@Adge I hope it all goes well for you tomorrow.
As for me, I’m going offline again. I have stuff going on and I’m not compelled to share every second of my awful life and bring down anyone else on the forum. Maybe I’ll be ok or maybe I’ll have a stay in pward. Either way be kind to yourselves, folks. Sakurapuss out.

Feeling hurt. Sad. Empty. Always surrounded by demands to give more, and that what I offer is worthless, and who I am can be easily snubbed and dismissed. Wish I knew how to expect more.

Feeling sad and lost and alone and insecure. Cutting my work week down from 5 days to 4 has created so many stresses. I've been so exhausted today after my day off yesterday. Feeling guilty and selfish about taking time out for myself. Worried about my husbands health, about not having enough money to pay the bills, and not filling in my time productively. I want to curl myself into a ball. Don't know what I feel like doing more: crying or falling into a deep slumber. My head is aching and I never realised I have so many bodily aches and pains.

I wish I could help alleviate your guilt for reducing hours. I see so many women flourishing on 2-4 days depending on circumstances. It can give structure and variety and allow them to do things well rather than rushing to cover all the bases. Change is difficult so .erhaps in time it will settle and feel better.

What happens if an inpatient stay didnt help. Everyone expects me to be somewhat better, but what happens if i feel the same or worse. Was it for nothing. I know there is no quick fix, but surely some change. Did i not do enough in there, could i have done something different. I am scared to admit i am going back to my old ways. What now, if that didnt help enough, now what.
