I feel...

I feel...

I feel desperately lonely yet, I feel like I don't belong anywhere. I don't belong in the 'Normal' world because I am tarred with the brush of mental ill health, yet because I've sort of stabilised now, I don't belong with my former peers either. I feel beige, uncoloured and boring with no emotion really even though if I had to say anything it is gutted. I feel trapped in a world I don't want and didn't ask for, yet whenever I try and break the shackles of failure, I am thrust back into the dark and reminded yet again of my failures (my Father is a constant person to remind me). I feel alone, even in a crowded room. I feel unheard, even if I am screaming loudly.

I guess I am just searching for something and not sure what.

Does anyone else feel beige?

Re: I feel...

@Queenie Oh Queenie I am so sorry for you and your Mrs. That is so sad to lose a pet something you dont get over ... I am here if you want to talk about it because I know the guilt. I had to put two pets down when they got incurably sick when I was certifiable ... I will never get over the guilt because if I was well it would never have happened.

You can talk to me I will listen.

Re: I feel...

I feel so guilty at myself for getting angry at the dog and losing my patience with her when I thought she was being lazy. Turns out she was very sick and I just didn't see the signs. She still played and ate and stuff (still stole food from the cat). We took her to the vet today but there was nothing they could do. I feel really awful for being so nasty towards the poor thing. I loved her and should have known when she refused her favourite treats on Christmas Day that something was definitely up.

Re: I feel...

@Queenie Was she an old dog? She sounds like she was a cheeky dog stealing your cats food lol. Animals hide their illness when they are sick it is really hard to tell when they are gravely ill even. It is not your fault.

Re: I feel...

She was 11 and was a big dog, but she never got the chance to go grey around the muzzle @Bunniekins. Our other dog is beside herself looking for her. We are giving her loads of treats and attention, but I think she wants her doggy sister.

Re: I feel...

@Queenie Are you doing an autopsy? You other dog will fret but will soon adjust with as you say loads of treats and attention.

Re: I feel...

No @Bunniekins no autopsy, as the vet confirmed it was a severe infection which caused her body to shut down. We will be cremating her and scattering her ashes where we had our ceremony earlier this year. That way she will always be in our special place.

Re: I feel...

I think I might log off and go spend some time with the other dog and my Mrs. Both are fretting pretty bad.

Catch y'all later if you are around. 😞

Re: I feel...

@Queenie That sounds like a nice way to see her off something that will be fitting for a much loved member of the family.
